Deloitte Tax LLP seeks a Tax Manager in Morristown, NJ.
Work You’ll Do
Support overall project planning and lead design sessions, system configuration, issue resolution, user acceptance testing, and cut-over activities. Work closely with project management on project status, milestones, and issue mitigation. Conduct design sessions with clients to understand and document the requirement definition for the system. Assign activities and tasks to a project team. Configure system modules and testing against requirement definition. Develop status reports and monitor issues/risk and oversee resolution. Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to clients. Produce prototypes, designs, data maps, and/or process maps to document the functionality and system operation features that the clients will use.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
- Three years as a Tax Manager or related occupation gaining experience documenting business rules and technical processes.
- Experience must include three years of:
- Gathering requirements from business users, and creating use cases and functional requirement documents by liaising between business stakeholders and IT teams;
- Reviewing designs and technical solutions for web applications, including ecosystem application integration, leading development and testing, and guiding teams through technical and functional issues for implementation;
- Utilizing requirement gathering techniques, including impact analysis, gap analysis, risk analysis, brainstorming, JAD sessions, focus analysis, survey, document analysis, interview, and prototyping and observation, to provide product solutions and implementations to clients;
- Utilizing MS Visio to create use cases, use case diagrams, and sequence flows;
- Providing project documentation reporting through business process documents (BPD), business requirement documents (BRD), functional requirements documents (FRD) and system requirements specifications (SRS);
- Interacting directly with senior management of the project team and clients to discuss issue resolution and continuity;
- Assisting with the full project life cycle, including staffing, budgeting, and closing out projects; and
- Mentoring and coaching junior team members.
- Position requires approximately 25% domestic travel.
