Work You’ll Do
Help client management understand, plan for, and deal with the complex and dynamic issues surrounding transfer pricing. Work with Ph.D. economists, attorneys, and tax specialists to analyze and resolve international tax and finance issues faced by multinational corporations. Plan and provide guidance for multiple tax engagements, as well as offer expertise to provide multinational clients with professional economic analytical services. Oversee research of complex tax issues and ensure their resolution by subordinate tax transfer pricing professionals, including Tax Seniors. Oversee the preparation and review of complex economic analyses and transfer pricing reports. Formulate tax planning strategies utilizing economic analyses, capital transactions, corporate taxation, and IRS practice and procedures. Determine the potential impact of such developments on client business. Devise and execute database searches for companies in the U.S. and foreign markets. Responsible for incorporating financial information into a standard financial model and conducting economic, financial and accounting analyses. Supervise assignments by Consultants and Seniors in the group and hold responsibility for the development and motivation of engagement staff by providing them with leadership, counseling and career guidance.

Requirements
- Doctorate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Law, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
- One year of experience performing tax and transfer pricing planning and compliance for U.S. multinational corporations.
- Experience must include one year of:
- Transfer pricing experience related to crypto assets and financing collateralized by crypto currency;
- Performing Business Model Optimization (BMO) planning and analysis, including intellectual property planning and supply chain planning to align with clients' business models, and planning of transfer pricing consequences;
- Auditing income tax provisions and disclosures under ASC 740 and analyzing deferred tax on outside basis differences of foreign investment, in particular, impacts of tax transactions on the outside basis differences;
- Conducting economic analysis of inter-company transactions to determine the appropriate price of these transactions;
- Reviewing and analyzing comparable transactions that are within the companies or undertaken externally in the marketplace to establish the nature of the transaction;
- Researching to create pricing and valuation methods and preparing a report on these findings for clients subject to US and global tax regulations;
- Experience with techniques for the pricing and valuation of inter-company transactions;
- Providing transfer pricing planning to minimize global effective tax rate and satisfy business needs, including financing structuring;
- Developing transfer pricing policies and methods pertaining to credit scoring and debt capacity that can be used by the client internally to meet specific needs; and
- Identifying and proposing tax planning opportunities to clients by analyzing clients' data, leading client engagements, and training, counseling, and mentoring junior team members.
- In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Master’s degree and three years of experience as stated above or a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience as stated above.
- Salary: $106,294.00 - $175,350.00/year.
