Tax Transformation – Product Strategy – Lead

The Team

Deloitte Tax LLP's (“Deloitte Tax”) Tax Transformation Office focuses on developing innovative technology solutions that enhance Deloitte Tax’s existing tax services or facilitate new tax service services. The team consists of professionals from a variety of backgrounds including tax technical, technology, change management, project management, and more. Joining the Tax Transformation office will give you the opportunity to be part of a cutting edge and innovative start-up environment within the larger Deloitte Tax organization.

Work you’ll do

As a Product Strategy Lead within Tax Transformation’s Innovation team, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of impact areas. No two days will be the same, but here are some examples of what you might work on:

  • Developing comprehensive business cases for new technology products and creating presentation materials for leadership investment decisions
  • In-depth financial analysis of potential technology projects including revenue projections, cost estimates, and the evaluation of alternative solutions
  • Solution designing, including development of UI/UX wireframes and light-weight prototypes to bring technology ideas to life and present to stakeholders for feedback
  • Guiding Deloitte Tax service lines through the innovation process, including facilitation of technology reviews and quality and risk reviews to ensure compliance with firm standards
  • Coordinating with workstream teams on milestones and dependencies to monitor and measure progress against projected versus actual plan
  • Periodic reporting of Tax innovation efforts to leadership through compelling and succinct presentations.
  • Support the advancement of our innovation efforts through market scanning, analysis and collaboration with stakeholders across the firm to build relevant and timely research collateral for review with relevant Deloitte Tax leaders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years experience in at least one of the following areas: 
    • Advanced Excel (including extensive knowledge of VBA)
    • Software development
    • UI/UX design
    • Business analysis
  • Strong research, analytical, consultative, storyboarding, and project management skills
  • Unyielding focus on quality results (analysis and deliverables)
  • Excellent organization, project management, and facilitation skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize multiple, ongoing projects
  • Expert in Microsoft applications (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited Sponsorship - Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Tax
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Working with clients on a global scale
  • Storyboarding
  • Change Management experience
