What You'll Do

As a Senior Manager in the Delivery Center, you will lead a regional team to execute transfer pricing projects, including large and small documentation projects, benchmarking and Advanced Pricing Agreement assistance. This multidisciplinary group, comprised of professionals with backgrounds in tax, economics, law, finance, and accounting, brings a well-rounded approach to each engagement.

This is a standard 40-45 hours a week leadership position, our delivery center prides itself on work life balance. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with economists, business professionals, and tax specialists in a team environment to analyze and resolve international transfer pricing issues faced by multinational enterprises in a wide variety of industries.
  • Supervising assignments of engagement staff, and providing leadership, counseling, and training to Managers, Consultants, and Senior Consultants.
  • Being an integral part of the delivery center leadership team.
  • Managing and overseeing workflows including detailed economic and financial analyses, as well as more complex modeling and empirical analyses.
  • Managing and overseeing a staff on 10+ to execute regional project flows.
  • Assisting in drafting document requests, reports, standard processes and templates and other materials.

The Team

Members of the highly specialized Deloitte Tax Transfer Pricing Delivery Center (TPDC) group work to deliver transfer pricing projects. Designed to scale and deliver on international tax compliance projects, the TPDC allows Deloitte to further differentiate our U.S. international tax compliance practice to attain and sustain world-class performance and value by:

  • Providing best of breed operating approaches, managing successful delivery of international tax compliance services, including data wrangling and related PMO services
  • Enhancing quality and minimizing risk using proven and repeatable processes, methodologies, and tools
  • Employing specifically trained, skilled center-based practitioners to meet client needs
  • Increasing delivery efficiency and improving margins using automation, flexible delivery models, reusable assets, tools, and approaches

Qualifications:

Required

  • 10+ years of experience working in Transfer Pricing with the technical skills and professional qualities necessary to serve the Delivery Center with the quality service they expect
  • BA in Economics, Finance, Management, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, or equivalent
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • One of the following accreditations obtained:
    • Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
    • If not CPA eligible, one of the other designations listed below based on role requirements and business approval:
      • Licensed Attorney
      • Enrolled Agent
      • Other - foreign equivalent of the above

Preferred

  • Big 4, transfer pricing or financial experience in transfer pricing
  • Highly motivated transfer pricing expert with a deep understanding of transfer pricing principles, their theory and interpretation
  • Strong project management skills and verbal communication skills

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $132300 to $245700.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
