Work you’ll do
- Seeking a Target Development Analyst to support in intelligence functions, analytics, and cyber investigations and operations.
- In this role you will work to advance collection operations by identifying new collection opportunities with potential to address identified source coverage gaps.
- Analysts conducting target analysis/development functions will apply indicators and characteristics of known threat variables to a defined targeting need and use analytic techniques and methodologies to advance investigative or collection actions, or to recommend new investigative or collection actions.
- Additionally, analysts assigned target analysis and/or development tasks and projects will evaluate, analyze, and synthesize large quantities of data and information from one or multiple sources into high quality, fused targeting/intelligence products.

The I&I team supports our GPS clients by delivering capabilities across the investigative lifecycle in the regulatory, civilian, law enforcement, health, and national security domains. Our professionals help our clients to identify, combat, and mitigate national security threats such as fraud, money laundering, sanctions violations, cybercrime, threats of terrorism, human trafficking, narcotics trafficking, litigations, and disputes.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance is required.
- Experience applying analytical techniques and intelligence analysis.
- Experience with targeting and target development.
- Experience conducting cyber-crime investigations for the Intelligence Community and/or hold a cyber-related certification (SEC+, NET+, CISP, etc).
- Ability to conduct research and analysis using open-source information, national and international databases, and corporate record filings to match investigative findings and summarize data into a finished professional product.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Knowledge and experience of cryptocurrencies, digital assets, and BSA data.
- Experience conducting cryptocurrency analysis support Federal investigation and prosecutions by using criminal investigative tools such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, CipherTrace, TRM Labs, Elementus, etc.

This compensation range is specific to Washington, DC, and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,663 to $179,438. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
