Deloitte’s Workforce Strategy & Solutions (WSS) team collaborates across each of the Deloitte businesses to shape our broader future workforce strategy - including the design, development and implementation of ‘future of work’ strategies, human centered end-to-end workforce solutions, and strategic workforce planning initiatives. The team tackles the firm’s most critical workforce strategy opportunities through the design of innovative strategies and solutions that are propelling us into the future of work.

The role

As a Talent Solutions Specialist aligned to the Performance Experience portfolio, you will support Deloitte’s highest priority cross-functional performance management initiatives to bring our Workforce Strategy to life. Your day consists of innovating, incubating, designing, implementing (and ultimately transitioning) key performance management and coaching initiatives that drive business outcomes and optimize the Deloitte talent experience. Initiatives will include designing and building varied performance management solutions/processes customized to meet the unique needs of specific cohorts, determining appropriate performance criteria and measures reflective of varied work and role expectations, defining technical/system requirements to enable end-to-end performance management activities, and addressing adjacent Talent process impacts tied to the performance process.

As a member of the WSS team deployed on the Performance Experience portfolio, you’ll have the opportunity to make connections between the work you do and other Performance Management evolution initiatives. Future deployments to other WSS priority areas will provide the opportunity to expand your network and capabilities beyond Performance Management to other aspects of the Talent Experience Potential initiatives include diversifying Talent models, improving career mobility, building acquisition strategies for high priority talent, and shaping more varied, customized talent experiences for our professionals.

The work you’ll do

On this team you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our current workforce across the Deloitte US Firms, as well as help shape our workforce of the future. As a Talent Solutions Specialist, you will operate as a trusted partner of our Business and Talent leaders, supporting the design of workforce solutions that will secure our position as the 1) professional services provider of choice for our clients and 2) employer of choice for our evolving workforce.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·       Support the design and deployment of performance solutions, using data and feedback to generate creative, advanced, and highly valued solutions using a human centered design approach

·       Deliver key project tasks for end-to-end workforce solutions including gathering business requirements, researching workforce trends, analyzing data, and designing and implementing solution components; Own the completion of work products/deliverables, including conducting complex business analyses, where required, to support data-driven results

·       Develop compelling, logically structured presentations and deliverables for Business and Talent leaders

·       Maintain an understanding of market shifts and talent trends and how they impact our business and workforce needs, and adapt solutions accordingly 

·       Provide project management support

·       Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees preferred

·       Minimum 4 years experience in human capital consulting or in-depth knowledge and experience with Deloitte Talent in project-based roles; Specialized knowledge and skills in workforce/talent strategy, performance management, and/or human-centered design methodologies a plus

·       Demonstrated client service orientation; Strong consultative skills; Experience with large scale change initiatives across complex organizations

·       Demonstrated business and financial acumen; an understanding of one or more of Deloitte’s businesses

·       Strong PowerPoint skills; Ability to create simple stories around complex topics and appeal to the needs of multiple stakeholders; Outstanding written, visual and oral communication and interpersonal skills

·       Demonstrated ability to build strong peer relationships across the Deloitte network

·       Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, complex, and ambiguous start-up environment; Agile mindset and ability to pivot and respond to unexpected project turns

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78,570 - $161,330.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
