Position Summary

Work you’ll do 

  • Identify systems engineering process improvements and enforces the execution of them across the organization. 
  • Perform engineering functions such as developing operational systems concepts, performing system trade studies, originating design concepts or performing systems level test and integration test for highly complex systems 
  • Assist to define system requirements and technical specifications for PEO C4I systems 
  • Work with end users to troubleshoot and fix issues 
  • Document configuration parameters and workflows 
  • Ensure systems are properly configured and maintained 
  • Plan, organize, troubleshoot, and direct the analysis and resolution of complex process and system problems 
  • Manage test scheduling and operations to ensure deadlines are met 
  • Apply knowledge of network architectures, computing systems, communications systems and unique hardware aspects of distributed data communications environments for testing sensors using real-time networks

The Systems Engineering offering is comprised of experienced professionals who help guide clients through their most complex technology challenges. This can include the delivery of large scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Systems Engineering offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business, provide operational value, drive down the cost of quality, and enhance technology innovation.

 

Qualifications 

Required: 

  • An active Top Secret clearance is required to be considered for this role. 
  • A Master's Degree from an accredited four-year university is required to be considered for this role (there may be allowances for years of experience).
  • At least ten (10) or more years of experience providing systems engineering support to a DoN federal program office.
  • Familiarity with NAVWAR PEO C4I organizational framework and system acquisition lifecycle. 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
