Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Studio Senior Lead, Customer & Marketing, Advertising, Marketing and Commerce in Los Angeles, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including digital and service UX/UI (User Experience and User Interface) design, practicing a rigorous design process that includes ethnographic research, synthesis, insight generation, ideation, design, prototyping, and testing; utilize these designs to drive innovative and transformative technology solutions that address their next generational needs. Modernize business and core environments to leverage technology innovations across multiple platforms; manage the design of modern and industry specific solutions to deliver outcomes that improve flexibility, scalability and cost management using conversational User Interface augmented, virtual or mixed reality and motion design. Participate in and lead aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence. Apply design principles, methods, techniques, and tools of creative disciplines from Branding, Visual Hierarchy, Typography, Grids and Color Theory. Apply design systems and best practices from atomic design, create and apply style guides, to typography and color for roll out of User Interfaces across multiple expressions.

Requirements

Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Visual Arts, any STEM field or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressively responsible related work experience as noted above. Must also have three (3) years of experience in each of the following: Driving UCD process methods to digital solutions from concept to launch, including gathering functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs, writing user stories, containing business and functional logic and design requirements. Facilitating workshops and user testing sessions that meet business goals and ensure a positive user experience; Designing solutions and information architecture for mobile and web-based applications (applying design principles, methods, techniques, and supporting creative disciplines from Branding, Visual Hierarchy, Typography, Grids and Color Theory; Creating brand-related artwork, illustrations, photo manipulation and editing, web assets, and supporting implementation and the full software development lifecycle. Utilizing design methodologies such as primary design research methods such as Usability Testing, Cooperative Evaluation, In-depth interviews, Diary Studies, Tree Testing, Surveys, Questionnaires, Card Sorting, Problem Framing, Personas Creation, User Journeys, Service Design Blueprints, Prototyping, Wireframing, User Acceptance Testing and others; Participating in and leading aspects of the proposal development process and contributing to the development of proposal pricing strategies; Presenting and pitching proposals to senior execs (clients). Managing information technology projects, service design projects, digital design projects, including all UX/UI design and full design processes such as ethnographic research, synthesis, insight generation, ideation, design, prototyping, and testing; Creating and managing custom information architectures, user flows and journeys, personas and scenarios, and wireframe artifacts, utilizing (Miro, Sketch, Figma, Adobe Suite, Axure, Excel, Keynote and others). Also utilizing tools such as utilizing Jira, Confluence, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Quip, PowerPoint, Keynote and other tools, specifically for proposal writing, scoping, Project Management, budget controlling and reporting; Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Designing and conducting staff training (about design process, consulting in general, proposal writing and scoping, but also trainings related to diversity and inclusion; and Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients as well as internal senior execs.
