We are looking for an energetic strategy manager to help shape Deloitte’s future via new growth opportunities through a diverse portfolio of high-impact projects. As a Manager within the Deloitte New-venture Accelerator (DNA) team, you will be a critical part of a specialized Corporate Development team that helps to drive growth across our businesses by providing market-based strategic and operational guidance to build, accelerate, and scale businesses that combine Deloitte’s market-leading professional services with best-in-class technologies.
The Team
The DNA team rapidly accelerates new revenue opportunities and recurring revenue growth by providing Deloitte’s leaders with strategic and operational guidance to help scale integrated technology and services businesses to their full potential. We help leaders make winning choices on Deloitte’s most strategic and impactful opportunities across a variety of domains (e.g., ESG, Cybersecurity). We are a high-performing team that prides itself on exceptional service and the ability to deliver high impact recommendations and build long-term, mutually beneficial, trusted partnerships with our stakeholders. Preferred locations include Minneapolis, Miami, and Boston. All projects and team environments are typically remote with the option to co-location as needed.
What You’ll Do
As a Corporate Development Strategy Manager, you’ll serve as the trusted advisor to firm leaders, supporting the rapid acceleration of new business development and recurring revenue growth, through inorganic and organic investment opportunities. You will:
- Drive impact by leading project teams that work directly with senior Deloitte leaders to develop winning growth strategies for Deloitte’s most strategic and impactful opportunities
- Lead growth strategy efforts across the entire lifecycle, including identifying sources of competitive advantage, accelerating recurring revenue growth, and optimizing operations to help Deloitte’s businesses reach their full potential
- Direct and influence cross-functional teams to support M&A transactions and facilitate innovation workshops
- Use a hypothesis-driven needs-based research approach and engage in hands-on market testing of customer needs, competitive dynamics, solution-market fit, and operational requirements to support development of end-to-end strategies
- Guide storyboarding to effectively translate market findings into strategies or actionable recommendations for C-level executives; oversee the quality of deliverables, effectively manage the project team and cultivate stakeholder relationships
- Foster and promote a collaborative, feedback-driven culture, and serve as a mentor and coach to junior resources on the team

What You’ll Need
- A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7+ years strategy consulting; experience working in tech-based business models
- Experience working with senior executives crafting and implementing growth strategies
- Superior critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong executive communication skills including ability to facilitate workings sessions and lead stakeholder meetings
- Outstanding strategy skills including a strong ability to storyboard, develop executive-level slides, build surveys / interview guides, and conduct expert interviews
- A growth mindset with high degree of intellectual curiosity, creativity, passion, and integrity
- Desire to develop junior team members by providing tactical feedback and career mentorship
- Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder organizations
- Willingness to travel on a limited basis as needed on projects

- An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) from a top tier program
- Operational experience such as pricing model development, product management, product marketing or customer insights development
