Work you’ll do

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to serve as Strategy Manager and leader of our Transformation Program Office (TMO). In this role, you will lead in a way similar to a corporate strategy and transformation function by providing strategic guidance, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring alignment across the technology department and senior business leaders. These efforts will support ongoing business needs, as well as a multitude of technology transformation programs impacting a global audience.  A track record of exceptional performance, strong analytics, and advisory to executives will form a strong background for the work you will be leading in this role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop executive level presentations with appropriate frameworks and strategic analysis.
  • Oversee daily operational activities on behalf of Technology Leader with reporting to senior leadership around the globe.
  • Manage the Transformation Management Office including project management activities and executive updates.
  • Serve as the communication gateway/liaison between Technology Leadership Team, GES leadership and other Partners as and when required.
  • Ensure timely adherence to project/program timelines.
  • Manage key logistics for workshops, events and or meetings where required.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the Technology Center’s vision, mission, and objectives. Assist in setting priorities, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and tracking progress towards established goals.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and implement best practices to support sustainable growth.
  • Facilitate seamless communication and coordination between the Leader and other departments, promoting a culture of collaboration and information sharing.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level reports and dashboards to provide visibility into a multi-year initiative with significant global firm investment.
  • Complete special projects and initiatives with skillful oversight and support.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role supporting senior executives.
  • One of the following active accreditations obtained:
    • Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA exam
    • If not CPA eligible:
      • Licensed Attorney
      • Enrolled Agent
      • Certifications:
        • Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR)
        • Certified Equity Professional (CEP)
        • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS)
        • Certified Pension Consultant (CPC)
        • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
        • Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt)
        • Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferred)
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.

Preferred:

  • Experience from top-tier consulting firm is preferred.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and drive results.
  • Broad business experience developing creative solutions and driving execution and adoption of key strategic programs across large teams.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Ability to present and translate highly technical capabilities to business leaders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and executive presence, capable of collaborating with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in data analysis, using metrics and KPIs to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Project management expertise, with a track record of successfully leading and executing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on executive leadership/sponsor communication.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple priorities with efficiency and adaptability.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $105770 to $223990

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
