Work you’ll do
The Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) practitioner, as a part of a high-paced team, will support the development, execution, and management of strategic workforce plans and initiatives. Our team supports the end client's Talent Management Strategic Workforce Planning office, advising and partnering with leadership and stakeholders to prepare the future workforce by predicting workforce needs and driving engagement with future talent. Our team works directly with SWP leadership to provide solutions to identify, recruit, hire, develop/train, retain existing and future workforce at the Agency. Our roles have high visibility where you’ll have the opportunity to interact with the client and have a direct impact on the workforce. Our team is looking to staff two Managers or equivalent to join a team of six practitioners.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in SWP to facilitate development of workforce strategies to support the SWP team, including working directly with SWP customers.
- Assist with the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and decision makers.
- Assist in cleaning and analyzing workforce data and/or survey data to identify patterns, challenges, and trends of significance.
- Provide project management support, including creating client-ready briefings, presentations, slide decks, written reports, data visualizations, and other products that analyze workforce characteristics/trends.
- Recommend strategies to address challenges, coordinate requests across multiple workstreams, and assist with updating project status materials.
- Collaborate with the team to synthesize, update, and develop career development resources, including but not limited to workshop/webinar materials, facilitation guides, process guides, and one-pagers.
- Design, develop, and facilitate internal training for the Strategic Workforce Planning team to include topics of research, analysis, consulting, strategic thinking, and briefing.

Qualifications
Required:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required with an active polygraph aligned with the end client.
- 8+ years of hands on workforce data and/or analytics experience.
- 8+ years of workforce strategy experience.
- 8+ years of reporting/ briefing/ presentations/ visualizations experience.
- Ability to be on site 100% of the time in Fort Meade, MD.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in an applicable field.
- Masters degree
- Prior management consulting experience
