Position Overview:
We are excited to announce a new opportunity within our Federal client’s Electromagnetic Spectrum Enterprise Plans and Policy (EMSEPP) shop. The EMSEPP office is focused on implementing the 2020 Electromagnetic Spectrum Superiority Strategy to drive enduring change across the agency and industry to achieve U.S. dominance of the Electromagnetic Spectrum, a critical war fighting domain and essential for our national security as well as our economic security.
The primary effort for this role will entail working with the O-6 and SES leads and technical experts to develop a Congressionally mandated Emerging Mid-Band Radar Spectrum Sharing (EMBRSS) feasibility study, which will be approved/signed by the Secretary of the agency. This study has wide-ranging national and economic security implications – can the agency give up or share critical pieces of the spectrum used by multi-billion dollar military systems/platforms to allow U.S. industries to innovate, expand, and remain global spectrum leaders?
The position is located in Pentagon City, VA and will report on-site at least 3 days per week.
Requirements:
- Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance is required (TS/SCI preferred).
- Required to work on-site at least 3 days per week.
- Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree preferred.
- The individual we are seeking will be a self-starter, comfortable in ambiguity, meticulously organized, able to manage multiple high-level agency strategic efforts, and adept at coordinating and organizing an array of agency and industry stakeholders toward common interests and goals.
- The individual will have a poised briefing style and be at ease engaging with and influencing high-level agency executives (GS15/O6s, SES, Flag Officers).
- Technical expertise is not required, but the individual must possess strong communication and project management skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
