Work you’ll do
- Assist USG in capturing and analyzing customers’ C4I requirements to include conducting site inspections and surveys.
- Recommend strategic approaches and end-to-end C4I capabilities to meet customer needs; develop accurate and justifiable cost estimates for recommended solutions.
- Participate in Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) events including but not limited to: Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Systems Operational Verification Tests (SOVT), and other events as required.
- Provide engineering and technical SME support for SETRs and other events such as system training and technical assistance visits.
- Trace requirements from customers’ need statements, requirements documentation, specifications and test. Manage requirements for capability, suitability, and testability.
- Provide configuration management, including guiding versioning and change processes.
- Maintain expertise in current and emerging Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) equipment/technologies in the C4I domain.

The Application Modernization and Innovation offering is comprised of experienced professionals who help guide clients through their most complex technology challenges. This can include the delivery of large-scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) & other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Application Modernization and Innovation offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business. We provide operational value, modernized mission solutions, and enhanced technology innovation.
Qualifications
Required:
- An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this role.
- Bachelor's of Science Degree from an accredited college or university in a STEM field.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Ten (10) or more years of direct experience as a systems engineer supporting C4I systems.
- Ten (10) or more years of direct experience supporting requirements development and cost estimation for engineering capabilities.
- Ten (10) or more years of direct experience participating in engineering events, including SETRs, PDRs, CDRs, SOVTs, FATs, GATs and other relevant events.
- Proficiency with MS Office (to include Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
- Master of Science degree from an accredited college or university in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or other related engineering or computer science discipline
