Serve as Key Personnel as a Sr. Quant Analyst leading a team of Modeling and Simulation analysts for a government client

The GPS Analytics and Cognitive (A&C) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.

 

Qualifications 

Required: 

  • Ph.D. required in a STEM field 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active Secret security clearance required 
  • Ten (10)+ years of demonstrated modeling, simulation, and quantitative analysis experience in support of DoD or similar force sizing, shaping, and capability analysis, including experience with discrete event simulation, agent-based modeling, network simulations, physics-based modeling, Markov decision processes, hidden Markov models, stochastic processes, and Monte Carlo and bootstrap methods and experience with reinforcement learning and deep reinforcement learning
  • Demonstrated experience applying a variety of analytical and computational methods including: classical and modern statistics, differential equations, linear algebra, and should be comfortable working with a number of object oriented programming languages and environments (e.g., Python, Java, C++, C#, R, MATLAB, and Simulink)

 

Preferred: 

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Previous federal consulting experience
  • Previous team leadership experience
