Work you’ll do 

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer on our Product Development Supply Chain Team, you will:

  • Write test cases and validate/ document new features and functionality in a SaaS-based software product as the product team continuously develops and launches new releases.
  • Work on the product development team with our developers, data scientists, Lead QA Engineer, UI/UX designer, and product manager to build software products using an agile approach in order to ensure new functionality is in alignment with product specification and design.
  • Create/ manage/ run automated tests and perform manual tests to validate that development tickets work as expected and new releases are properly regression tested before launch.
  • Own & perform both day-to-day manual testing of tickets across JIRA board/ sprints and the implementation of test automation to cover newly developed functionality.
  • Work closely with developers to communicate defects found and support developers as they work to correct problems
  • Track quality assurance metrics such as open defect counts and maintain defect list in the backlog
  • Proactively communicate status updates during Daily Standup and throughout the day
  • Innovate QA processes and procedures

The GPS Product Development area supports Deloitte’s rapid growth in business models related to products and solutions.  This technical team is focused on internal investment initiatives that support the growth of our business.




  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in automation (ex. Selenium, Cypress) and at least one scripting language
  • 1+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines such GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins
  • Experience with automated test frameworks, automated test development, manual testing, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with QA methodology and industry-standard testing and bug tracking tools
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/ sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.


  • 5+ years of software quality assurance engineering experience in an agile environment (manual/ automated testing, test strategies, and test plans).
  • Experience writing end-to-end tests in Cypress
  • API integration and management using Cypress and Environment management for test execution using Cypress
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with DevOps and CICD pipelines
  • Advanced skills in Python
  • Advanced skills in PostgreSQL and ArangoDB databases
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work independently or on a team.
