Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Specialist Senior, Enterprise Performance, SAP in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

Work You’ll Do 

Drive SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions using SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform. Work to improve the ability to react on digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, modernize core systems, and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions using SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform. Design sales solutions in SAP S/4HANA and related applications in line with business requirements, envisage business improvements using SAP S/4HANA and new SAP applications, and execute required proof of concepts to showcase the benefit. Participate in setting SAP engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams, and identify changes in scope with focus on sales & distribution processes; Drive the development and implementation of large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging SAP modules and cloud-based or on-premise platforms using S/4HANA conversion and pre-requisites, S/4HANA simplification and business impact, and SAP Cloud Platform. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities and provide application analysis to meet SAP architecture and infrastructure goals. Help manage the complexity inherent with technology change, from requirements planning to architecture, testing to deployment, and beyond, helping to link the IT programs to organizational goals, while utilizing SAP modules. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions using SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics, and user experience using Fiori and SAP Cloud Platform. Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure work product is of a high quality and delivered in a timely manner, all while coordinating and negotiating with external and internal parties.

Requirements 

Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Designing and implementing solutions across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform ERP systems;
  • Driving business process knowledge and configuration in SAP ECC and S/4HANA for majority of the sales related processes, SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) functions and its cross-integration with other core processes in Logistics Execution (LE), Trade Promotion Management (TPM), Financial Accounting (FI), Procurement and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in SAP system;
  • Participating in end-to-end SAP implementations, including project preparation, blueprinting, realization, final preparation and go live and support across the Consumer Goods, Food Distribution and Financial Services industries, and with recent experience in managing transformational initiatives;
  • Working with system development life-cycle methodologies, including Agile, to structure development projects, by preparing product backlog, and ensuring deviations from out of the box functionality have sufficient business justification and positive value proposition;
  • Configuring and setting up Proof of Concepts (POC) for Order to Cash (OTC) scenarios processes, including Make to Order (MTO) and Make to Stock (MTS), Logistics & Billing functions, Financial G/L integration, and advanced pricing techniques using SAP technology solutions; and
  • Defining systems implementation strategy, conducting workshops and collecting user requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
