Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Specialist Senior, Enterprise Performance, Oracle in Chicago, Illinois and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.


Work You’ll Do

Conduct client workshops to understand business problems and challenges, gather requirements, outline program scopes, and showcase Oracle ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) features and capabilities. Analyze client system landscapes and requirements, recommend optimal application agnostic solutions to meet clients’ end objectives and help clients make informed decisions for transforming existing processes and applications to advance technology. Interact with client stakeholders to capture detailed requirements, business scenarios, dependencies conversion scope, non-functional requirements and create functional design documents. Define project scope, develop systems implementation strategies and project plans using Microsoft (MS) Project for tracking workstream progress, assessing risks and issues. Participate in different phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) spanning across requirements gathering, system design, application configuration, change request or enhancement validation, testing, defect fixing, end user training and application support. Demonstrate working solutions through Proof of Concepts (POCs) for Oracle Cloud applications and conduct CRPs (Conference Room Pilots) to showcase functionalities, business case walkthroughs and system prototypes. Develop custom solutions for product gaps, utilize wireframes, and guide teams to create prototypes, builds, test functionalities, and demo solutions. Create test cases and perform Functional, System Integration (SIT), Performance, and End-to-end testing for ERP application.

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Any), or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following: 

  • Implementing end-to-end Oracle Financials Cloud applications, including General Ledger (GL), Subledger Accounting (SLA), Financials Accounting Hub (FAH), Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP), Fixed Assets, Global Intercompany and EBS (E-Business Suite) modules;
  • Interacting with business stakeholders to define system strategies and gather functional and technical requirements;
  • Leading teams in documenting current and future business process designs, utilizing MS Visio, CRPs, application configurations, creating test scripts, performing End-to-end testing, and managing cutover and system go-live;
  • Executing test scripts and tracking defects, utilizing tools such as HP Quality Center (HPQC), Jira, and/or Confluence;
  • Writing and executing complex SQL (Structured Query Language) queries for data analysis, data extraction, reporting system issues and providing audit information on Oracle database; and
  • Coordinating with cross functional onsite and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks and interdependencies.
