Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Specialist Master, Enterprise Performance, SAP in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

 

Work You’ll Do 

Manage information technology projects including SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevant SAP tools/techniques to meet specific requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Manage and deliver components of engagements; work to improve their ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes, and promote SAP knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence. Evaluate the technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability; design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensure business growth.

Requirements 

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, any STEM field or a related field and five (5) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept three (3) years of university study and six (6) years of related work experienceMust have five (5) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Leading large-scale SAP implementation and go-live projects, across organizations globally, driving program governance, and managing client and stakeholder expectations;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders in design process workshops to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, identify business processes, document process flow diagrams in Microsoft (MS) Project, and prepare technical design documents;
  • Managing the technical delivery of SAP components of client engagements that identify, design and implement creative business solutions for large companies, including managing teams in the identification of business requirements, testing, training, and defining support procedures;
  • Developing solution design and implementation of SAP Business Suite and SAP NetWeaver landscape architecture on Cloud, On-Premise and Hybrid environments with SAP HANA, Oracle and SQL Server (Structured Query Language) databases;
  • Participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process and contributing to the development of proposal pricing strategies;
  • Collaborate with key client decision makers and Implementation teams, including 3rd party vendors to strategize and align solution planning for the implementation model and project timeline;
  • Preparing project plans of functional and technical migration and upgrade per clients’ requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to finalize and publish project plan and timeline;
  • Interacting with client Project Management Office (PMO) and cross-functional teams to communicate project status updates and progress of the work;
  • Performing installation, technical administration, tuning, and monitoring of SAP NetWeaver and SAP Business Suite applications and Oracle and SQL Server database landscapes, and coordinating with Functional teams to ensure timely, quality completion, and delivery of project tasks; and
  • Working across phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including implementation, support, and migration of solutions for enterprise-level clients, utilizing SAP tools Solution Manager (SolMan), Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM), Service Desk, and Software Update Manager (SUM), and HP ALM and Atlassian JIRA.
  • 80% Travel required nationally.
