Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Specialist Master, Enterprise Performance, SAP in Costa Mesa, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive business transformation engagements in the areas of Production Planning, Quality Management, Logistics and Warehouse Management; Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, process design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Lead day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors, and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies. Manage teams in identifying business requirements, functional and process designing (including scenario designing, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining Support procedures. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients, and function as integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients business needs. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process, contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies, and estimate time and resources needed for development work. Perform the role of counselor and coach by actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities. Provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Create project charters, schedules, and plans, define project tasks, allocate resources and monitor project progress.

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field and three (3) years of work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressive work experience. Must also have three (3) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Leading the design and implementation of Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing and logistics transformations;
  • Designing and developing customized solutions for Shop floor execution to support production using web-based applications in SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) and experience implementing SAP variant configuration;
  • Implementing SAP S/4 HANA integration with 3rd party logistics (3PL) systems and external Warehouse management systems (WMS) using EDIs (Electronic Data Interchange) and custom built IDocs (Intermediate Documents) and designing and developing functional specifications for custom development and interfacing with external systems using IDocs and EDIs for unique business requirements;
  • Implementing SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) Quality management solutions with warehouse processes;
  • Designing and developing customized RF (radio frequency) screens for bar code scanning and integrating RF processes using SAP WM (Warehouse Management) and SAP EWM (Extended warehouse management);
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design using tools including, ARIS and HP ALM (Application Life Cycle Management) and using ARIS, iRise, SAP SolMan (Solution Manager), Microsoft (MS) SharePoint, and Winshuttle for the design and development of project solutions;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders for gathering functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs using HP ALM;
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverables status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders using MS Project;
  • Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and maintenance in client environments using uPerform and SAP WPB (Work Performance Builder); and
  • Supporting business development activities, including proposal development and responses to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) utilizing MS Project.
