Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a SPECIALIST MASTER, ENTERPRISE PERFORMANCE, SAP in Houston, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

DRIVING BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION AND ON-GOING OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR THE FULL SUITE OF SAP SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS. MANAGING AND DELIVERING COMPONENTS OF CLIENT ENGAGEMENTS THAT IDENTIFY, DESIGN, AND IMPLEMENT TECHNOLOGY AND CREATIVE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS FOR LARGE COMPANIES. MANAGING TEAMS IN THE IDENTIFICATION OF BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS, FUNCTIONAL DESIGN, PROCESS DESIGN (INCLUDING SCENARIO DESIGN, FLOW MAPPING), PROTOTYPING, TESTING, TRAINING, DEFINING SUPPORT PROCEDURES. PARTICIPATING AND LEADING ASPECTS OF THE PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT PROCESS. PERFORMING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, AND IDENTIFYING GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES. FUNCTIONING AS INTEGRATORS BETWEEN BUSINESS NEEDS AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, HELPING TO CREATE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS TO MEET CLIENTS' BUSINESS NEEDS. DEFINING SYSTEMS STRATEGY, DEVELOPING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, PROCESSING DESIGN, PROTOTYPING, AND TESTING CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, AND SUPPORTING SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION. WRITING FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS AND USE CASES, CREATING PROCESS FLOW DIAGRAMS AND FINALIZING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS. PERFORMING CONCEPTUAL AND TECHNICAL DESIGNS, INCLUDING THE USE OF OBJECT-ORIENTED ANALYSIS AND DESIGN TECHNIQUES. TRACKING APPLICATION DEFECTS USING DEFECT TRACKING TOOLS, COORDINATING DEFECT RESOLUTION EFFORTS, AND DOCUMENTING RESOLUTION DETAILS. MANAGING THE SERVICE TRANSITION FROM ERP IMPLEMENTATION TEAM TO APPLICATION MANAGEMENT SERVICES TEAM COORDINATING WITH OFFSHORE COUNTERPARTS. CREATING PLANS TO MITIGATE RISKS AND ISSUES OVER THE COURSE OF THE PROJECT AND MANAGING THE SCOPE USING CHANGE MANAGEMENT PROCESSES. COMMUNICATING WITH STAKEHOLDERS TO PROVIDE ACCURATE REPORTING AND INFORMATION SHARING REGARDING THE ONGOING PROJECT ACTIVITIES, RISKS AND INITIATIVES. MANAGING THE SLA'S, AND MOTIVATING RESOURCES IN SUPPORT OF TIMELINE AND PROJECT DELIVERABLES, COORDINATING, NEGOTIATING WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS AND USE WIN-WIN APPROACH TO NEGOTIATE AND RESOLVE CONFLICTS. ADHERING TO QUALITY PROCESSES AND EVD METHODOLOGY TO ENSURE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT AS PER THE GUIDELINES DEFINED BY QUALITY AND RISK MANAGEMENT TEAM. LEADING DELOITTE INTERNAL PROJECT EVALUATIONS AND YEAR-END APPRAISAL PROCESS INCLUDING EVALUATING THEIR STRENGTHS, DEVELOPMENT AREAS, OVERALL CONTRIBUTIONS, AND PROMOTION RECOMMENDATIONS. ESTABLISHING THE OVERALL REPORTING STRUCTURE AND COLLABORATING WITH SENIOR MANAGEMENT TO SET-UP THE OVERALL PROCESS FOR TRACKING THE METRICS OF INCIDENTS AND ENHANCEMENTS AND VALUE ENHANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES.

Requirements

MASTER'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING (ANY), CIS, MIS OR A RELATED FIELD AND THREE (3) YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. IN THE ALTERNATIVE, THE EMPLOYER WILL ACCEPT A BACHELORS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) AND FIVE (5) YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE WORK EXPERIENCE. MUST ALSO HAVE THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • IMPLEMENTING INDUSTRY BEST PRACTICES AND SAP SUPPLY CHAIN BUSINESS PROCESSES INCLUDING MATERIAL PLANNING, PROCUREMENT, WAREHOUSING, SHIPPING, AND TRANSPORTATION FOR THE CLIENT MANUFACTURING AND DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES;
  • CONFIGURING STANDARD AND CUSTOM INTERFACES BETWEEN SAP AND NON-SAP SYSTEMS FOR DATA TRANSFERS THAT INCLUDE ELECTRONIC DATA INTERFACE (EDI), INTERMEDIATE DOCUMENTS (IDOCS) AND BATCH DATA COMMUNICATION (BDC);
  • PREPARING TRAINING DOCUMENTS USING BUSINESS RESOURCE TRAINING TOOL, DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, SOLUTION MANAGER, AND SAP - ENABLE NOW, COORDINATING AND PROVIDING TRAINING TO BUSINESS USERS AND HANDLING DAY-TO-DAY BUSINESS PROCESS ISSUES;
  • CONDUCTING UNIT TEST, INTEGRATION AND USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING USING SAP METHODOLOGIES INCLUDING HYBRID AGILE METHODOLOGY AND ASAP METHODOLOGY TO IMPLEMENT THE SUPPLY CHAIN PROCESSES IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: MATERIAL MANAGEMENT, PRODUCTION PLANNING, QUALITY MANAGEMENT, ADVANCED WAREHOUSING, DISTRIBUTION, INTERNATIONAL SUPPLY, SUBCONTRACTING AND CONSIGNMENT PROCUREMENT;
  • DEFINING DATA EXTRACTION PRINCIPLES, DATA TRANSFORMATION RULES AND LOAD LEGACY DATA INTO SAP AND/OR SAP S/4HANA SYSTEM USING SAP EXTRACT, TRANSFORM AND LOAD (ETL), BUSINESS OBJECTS, LEGACY SYSTEM MIGRATION WORKBENCH (LSMW).
  • 80% Travel required nationally.
