Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Specialist Master, Core Business Operations, Cloud Engineering in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage the creation of innovative and transformative Cloud-based technology solutions for network transformation projects; create effective IT visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives. Utilize enterprise networking technologies, tools and processes, including routing and switching, L4-7 traffic management (e.g. load balancing), firewalls, datacenter fabric, as well as networking protocols. Help to achieve the most out of their existing infrastructure and guide them through multi-year transformations that are necessary in the wake of technology disruptions such as Cloud and Internet of Things (IoT). Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence. Manage information technology projects, including development and implementation services, to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs throughout the enterprise.

Requirements

Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Information Technology, any STEM field, or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in a stated field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as noted above. Must have three years of experience with: Managing the delivery of network transformation projects, ensuring timely and quality completion of project tasks; Carrying out end-to-end delivery of projects and system change requests, technical design, design review, code review, performance tuning, project delivery and resource planning; Designing Infrastructure compute, network, storage solutions for applications, private cloud environment for customers and hosted technologies; Architecting data migration strategies, utilizing such storage, hypervisor, and cloud migration tools as VMware Converter, PlateSpin, Cloudscape, AWS CloudEndure, VMware HCX, and Microsoft Azure Site Recovery (ASR); Developing frameworks that improve client future-state organizational design and alignment to optimize efficiency and profitability; Participating in development efforts by creating Statements of Work (SOW), proposal development, and client presentations; Managing the design and implementation of large-scale data ecosystems including data management and governance, and integrating structured and unstructured data, utilizing Prisma Cloud, backup, MS SQL DB, disaster recovery, archival, VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) and EMC RecoverPoint Appliance (RPA); Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders through daily and weekly status reports, and Azure DevOps (ADO) Dashboards; Coordinating the project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks, utilizing video and audio conferencing, and collaboration tools Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Yammer; and Managing, developing, and mentoring staff, assessing engagement performance and performing year-end reviews.
