Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

LEVERAGING ANALYTICS, ROBOTICS, AND COGNITIVE TECHNOLOGIES TO UNCOVER HIDDEN RELATIONSHIPS FROM VAST TROVES OF DATA, CREATING AND MANAGING LARGE-SCALE ORGANIZATIONAL INTELLIGENCE, AND GENERATING INSIGHTS THAT CATALYZE GROWTH AND EFFICIENCIES. PERFORMING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, AND IDENTIFYING GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES. CREATING PROJECT CHARTERS, SCHEDULES, AND PLANS, DEFINING PROJECT TASKS, ALLOCATING RESOURCES AND MONITORING PROJECT PROGRESS. RESEARCHING USER REPORTED ISSUES, IDENTIFYING ROOT CAUSES AND RESOLUTIONS, IMPLEMENTING FIXES, AND LIAISING BETWEEN BUSINESS FUNCTIONS, END USERS, AND TECHNICAL DELIVERY TEAMS. CREATING TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS, INCLUDING SCREEN LAYOUTS, NAVIGATION FLOWS, LOGIC DIAGRAMS, DATA MODELS, PROCESS MODELS, AND PSEUDO CODE, TO BE USED FOR APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT. WRITE FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS AND USE CASES, CREATE PROCESS FLOW DIAGRAMS AND FINALIZING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS. PERFORMING CONCEPTUAL AND TECHNICAL DESIGNS, INCLUDING THE USE OF OBJECTORIENTED ANALYSIS AND DESIGN TECHNIQUES. TRACKING APPLICATION DEFECTS USING DEFECT TRACKING TOOLS, COORDINATING DEFECT RESOLUTION EFFORTS, AND DOCUMENTING RESOLUTION DETAILS. ASSESSING AND DIAGNOSING A PROBLEM AND ANALYZING THE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN KEY DRIVERS. DEVELOPING SOLUTIONS TO CLIENT PROBLEMS THROUGH APPLICATION OF PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND STANDARD METHODS AND TOOLS.

Requirements 

BACHELOR'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM DEGREE OR A RELATED FIELD AND ONE (1) YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IN THE OFFERED POSITION OR A POSITION IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST HAVE ONE (1) YEAR OF EXPERIENCE WITH:

  • WORKING ACROSS ALL PHASES OF THE SDLC LIFECYCLE FOR THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SOLUTIONS FOR ENTERPRISE-LEVEL CLIENTS IN THE RETAIL INDUSTRY;
  • INTERFACING DIRECTLY WITH CLIENT STAKEHOLDERS TO GATHER FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, ANALYZING CLIENT REQUIREMENTS, AND TRANSLATING REQUIREMENTS INTO PROJECT DESIGNS TO DELIVER SOLUTIONS THAT SATISFY CLIENT NEEDS USING UNIFIED MODELING LANGUAGE DESIGN TOOL VISIO;
  • USING JAVA FOR THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF SOLUTIONS;
  • TRACKING AND REPORTING ON PROJECT AND MILESTONE DELIVERABLE STATUS TO ENSURE TIMELY PROJECT DELIVERY AND COMMUNICATION OF UPDATES TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS USING JIRA PROJECT MANAGEMENT TOOL;
  • COORDINATING THE PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES OF CROSS-FUNCTIONAL ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE TEAM MEMBERS TO ENSURE EFFICIENT COMPLETION OF PROJECT TASKS;
  • USING JAVA AND SQL IN THE PERFORMANCE OF PROJECT-RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES.
