Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in Mechanicsburg, PA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Provide software implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Work to improve the ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine businesses with digital solutions. Design and develop data validation processes, perform data analysis and profiling to identify data gaps using software data quality and data profiling tools to rectify data redundancies and anomalies. Help manage the complexity inherent with technology change, from requirements planning to architecture, testing to deployment, and beyond, helping to link IT programs to organizational goals. Use data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to provide analytics support and produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Create technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models.

  • 15% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field and one (1) year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have one (1) year of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Writing and troubleshooting Structured Query Language (SQL) queries, utilizing Oracle SQL Developer to validate report data and to generate ad hoc reports for the business;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs;
  • Writing test scenarios and performing Unit, Integration and Performance testing for web applications and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Test Manager;
  • Providing analytical support, utilizing data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools Informatica PowerCenter, Endeca, QlikView, Qlik Sense, Tableau, and R, to produce analysis and algorithms and publish reports to servers, and enabling role-based security through IBM Cognos Access Manager, MS Active Directory, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), and Tableau Server REST API;
  • Creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models and translating business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional requirement specifications, utilizing Axure Rapid Prototyping (RP), Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect, and MS Office, including Visio and Team Foundation Server (TFS); and
  • Working across phases of the Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid Agile project delivery lifecycle, including requirements, design and development, Internal and User Acceptance (UAT) test phases, and performing discovery, sprint cycles, and release to design, develop, test, and implement solutions, utilizing MS tools Visio, PowerPoint, Excel,  Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
