Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in Lake Mary, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Provide advisory and implementation services of large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments for clients in the insurance, financial services, healthcare, State and Local government, telecom, retail industries. Function as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, creating custom technology solutions to meet varied needs of businesses; and define system strategy, develop system requirements, develop system requirements, design processes, prototypes and support system implementations. Design, develop and enforce data integration methods for acquiring and publishing data using Batch Processes, Message Queues and Application Program Interfaces (API’s) to achieve seamless data integration solutions. Deliver full lifecycle MDM projects for clients including Data modeling, Metadata management, Design and configuration of matching and merging rules, Design and configuration of standardizing, cleansing and deduplication rules. Coordinate with subject matter experts and business analysts to design and develop configuration approaches, estimate configuration efforts, and produce design documents; and asses and diagnose problems by analyzing the interaction between key drivers. Design and develop data models for Data Marts, Databases and Master Data Management Applications. Track application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinate defect resolution efforts, and document resolution details. Design and develop rules and criteria to move data from disparate sources to centralized Master Data Management platforms. Define Data Governance, Data Architecture Standards and Data Quality Metrics ensuring consistency across enterprise applications. Design database queries, triggers, procedures, functions and packages for reporting and data analytics. Participate in various aspects of the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, which may include requirements gathering, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Research user reported issues, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams.

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Management Information Systems, Engineering (Any), or a related field and one (1) year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have one (1) year of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Utilizing data management tools to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions to help businesses centrally manage their Master Data;
  • Establishing data and configuring the components needed for MDM (Master Data Management Implementations, including implementing hierarchies, relationships types, packages, and profiles;
  • Defining and configuring landing tables, staging tables, base objects, lookups, query groups, queries, packages, hierarchies, foreign-key relationships, and match and merge rules in MDM; and developing workflows to data domains for performing extraction, validation, cleansing, matching, loading, and other data-related activities to support client MDM requirements;
  • Informatica MDM 10.x IDD and E360 development subject areas, user exit, provisioning, business entity services Development of User Exits both for MDM and IDD Active VOS task configuration;
  • Experience working on Informatica MDM to design, develop, test and review and optimize Informatica MDM (Siperian);
  • Expertise in creating Mappings, Trust and Validation rules, Match Path, Match Column, Match rules, Merge properties and Batch Group creation;
  • Experience in creation and maintenance of entity objects, hierarchies, entity types, relationship objects Relationship types using Hierarchy tool to enable Hierarchy Manager (HM) in MDM HUB implementation;
  • Develop security and access controls for Developers, Administrators, Data Stewards, and Data Steward managers to restrict and manage master data access privileges;
  • Designing generic infrastructures to meet data quality needs at the enterprise level and establishing service lines by defining security plans and performing setups of data quality environments;
  • Developing automated code management, deployment, and integration using SVN (Subversion), Jenkins, and IBM UCD (UrbanCode Deploy); and
  • Performing Unix shell scripting; and configuring complex job schedules using CA Autosys for job schedules and automation;
  • 15% travel required nationally.
