Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, DC Human Capital, HR Transformation in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

 

Work You’ll Do 

Develop Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, including design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and APIs (Application Programming Interface), Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services (CMS). Participate in various aspects of the full Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations. Convert legacy data according to current systems data structure using data warehouse concepts, design conversion strategies and mapping rules between legacy data and the current system database to facilitate data conversion. Research user reported issues with software applications, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Create technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Track application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinate defect resolution efforts, and document resolution details. Design sub-components of larger application systems, integrate the applications, and optimize the system structure to improve stability and performance.

Requirements 

Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, any STEM field or a related field. One year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must have one year of experience with:

  • Conducting assessment of current systems and business architecture utilizing Workday tools to design The Workday Business Process Flows and respective integrations with downstream systems, and third-party vendors;
  • Performing Unit testing, Regression testing, and defect resolution in testing management tools, including Jira, HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), and octane for standard and custom developments;
  • Applying concepts of database and application design technologies, including XML (Extensible Markup Language), XTT (XML to text), ETV (Element Transformation and Validation), XSLT (extensible Stylesheet Language Transformation), Web Services, and middleware for Cloud- based solutions;
  • Using complex programs to extract data and look for meaningful trends, and building and maintaining data pipeline to power and maintain the applications;
  • Participating in aspects of projects, including code reviews, analysis, and performance tuning and working closely with design, product, and analytics teams on improving the user experience;
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting application issues postproduction, including deployment, code fix, and manual job executions across multiple environments and operating platforms using JIRA;
  • Deploying software in application servers for user acceptance testing (UAT) and providing support for postproduction issues while adhering to SLA's (service level agreements); and
  • Executing multiple sessions with internal clients to evaluate core business processes, manage expectations, communicate risks, determine interdependencies, and assess financial impact.
