Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Mechanicsburg, PA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

PERFORMING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, AND IDENTIFYING GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES. DEFINING SYSTEMS STRATEGY, DEVELOPING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, PROCESSING DESIGN, PROTOTYPING, AND TESTING CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, AND SUPPORTING SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION. WRITE FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS AND USE CASES, CREATE PROCESS FLOW DIAGRAMS AND FINALIZING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS. PERFORMING CONCEPTUAL AND TECHNICAL DESIGNS, INCLUDING THE USE OF OBJECT-ORIENTED ANALYSIS AND DESIGN TECHNIQUES. TRACKING APPLICATION DEFECTS USING DEFECT TRACKING TOOLS, COORDINATING DEFECT RESOLUTION EFFORTS, AND DOCUMENTING RESOLUTION DETAILS. ASSESSING AND DIAGNOSING A PROBLEM AND ANALYZING THE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN KEY DRIVERS. DEVELOPING SOLUTIONS TO CLIENT PROBLEMS THROUGH APPLICATION OF PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND STANDARD METHODS AND TOOLS. WORKING ACROSS ALL PHASES OF THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE FOR THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF INTEGRATED ELIGIBILITY, HEALTH INSURANCE EXCHANGE AND CHILD CARE SOLUTIONS FOR STATE GOVERNMENTS. INTERFACING DIRECTLY WITH CLIENT DIFFERENT STAKEHOLDERS TO GATHER FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, ANALYZING CLIENT REQUIREMENTS, AND TRANSLATING REQUIREMENTS INTO PROJECT DESIGNS TO DELIVER SOLUTIONS THAT SATISFY CLIENT NEEDS USING USE CASES, SEQUENCE DIAGRAMS AND WIREFRAMING. PERFORMING DATABASE LEVEL VALDIATIONS. USING TERMINAL EMULATOR (PUTTY) FOR SSH CONNECTION TO EXECUTE BATCH JOBS. USING JAMA FOR THE UPLOADING AND EXECUTION OF TEST SUITES AND JIRA TOOL TO CREATE AND TRACK DEFECTS IN THE APPLICATIONS. USING JAMA, JIRA, COMMAND LINE EXECUTION FOR RUNNING BATCHES ON THE SERVER, SOAP UI, AND ORACLE SQL DEVELOPER TOOL IN THE PERFORMANCE OF PROJECT-RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES. SUPPORTING END CLIENTS WITH USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING (UAT).

Requirements

REQUIRES A BACHELOR'S DEGREE OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT DEGREE IN MANAGEMENT, BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM DEGREE OR A RELATED FIELD. ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IN THE OFFERED POSITION OR A POSITION IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST HAVE ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE WITH:

  • WORKING ACROSS ALL PHASES OF THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE FOR THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF INTEGRATED ELIGIBILITY, HEALTH INSURANCE EXCHANGE AND CHILD CARE SOLUTIONS FOR GOVERNMENTS;
  • INTERFACING DIRECTLY WITH CLIENT STAKEHOLDERS TO GATHER FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, ANALYZING CLIENT REQUIREMENTS, AND TRANSLATING REQUIREMENTS INTO PROJECT DESIGNS TO DELIVER SOLUTIONS THAT SATISFY CLIENT NEEDS USING USE CASES, SEQUENCE DIAGRAMS AND WIREFRAMING;
  • USING JAMA FOR THE UPLOADING AND EXECUTION OF TEST SUITES AND JIRA TOOL TO CREATE AND TRACK DEFECTS IN THE APPLICATIONS;
