Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.


Work You’ll Do


Transforming how clients deliver services to customers. Delivering large, complex systems development and transformation projects to human service agencies across federal, state, and local government agencies. Partnering with clients to transofrm service delivery to those most in need. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Write functional and technical system requirements and use cases, create process flow diagrams and finalizing system requirements. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. Developing solutions to client problems through application of personal experience and standard methods and tools. Performing system, unit, integration, acceptance, regression, load, functional, and performance testing and conducting assessments of current systems and business architectures. Testing system functionalities to ensure applications adhere to developed requirements, participating in agile testing and completing tasks for each sprint to meet deadlines. Developing and executing test cases for user stories and defects for each sprint cycle. Testing of web services using web services client generated using simple object access protocol user interface (soap ui) to track request and response soap messages. Writing test cases by using design documents and acceptance criteria, performing validation testing and negative and positive testing on applications and using atlassian confluence to maintain documents. Performing data integrity testing by executing structured query language (sql) statements to make sure data is integrated and correctly functioned. Performingsystem integration testing & regression testing in reference with the test cases and business  screen design documents, business batch design documents and logged defects using hp alm, jama, jira, ca rally, mantis and bugzilla.

  • 15% travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in business administration, any stem degree or a related field. One year of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation. Must have one year of experience with:

  • Performing system, unit, integration, acceptance, regression, load, functional, and performance testing and conducting assessments of current systems and business architectures;
  • Testing system functionalities to ensure applications adhere to developed requirements, participating in agile testing and completing tasks for each sprint to meet deadlines;
  • Developing and executing test cases for user stories and defects for each sprint cycle;
