Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Lake Mary, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

 

Work You’ll Do

DEVELOP SOFTWARE AND IMPLEMENT SERVICES TO HELP COMPANIES UNLOCK THE VALUE OF TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENTS, RANGING FROM REQUIREMENTS TO ARCHITECTURE, DESIGN TO DEVELOPMENT, TESTING TO DEPLOYMENT, AND BEYOND AS DISCRETE SERVICES OR COMPREHENSIVE SOLUTIONS. EVALUATE TECHNOLOGY NEEDS, DEVELOP CUSTOMIZED APPLICATIONS AND DRAFT TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL DESIGN DOCUMENTATION AND IDENTIFY AND MITIGATE PROCESS AND TECHNOLOGY RISKS FOR ENGAGEMENTS. ASSESS EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND IDENTIFY GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES. DESIGN SUB-COMPONENTS OF LARGER APPLICATION SYSTEMS, INTEGRATE SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS, AND CONTINUOUSLY OPTIMIZE THE SYSTEM STRUCTURE TO IMPROVE STABILITY AND PERFORMANCE. DEFINE SYSTEMS STRATEGY, DEVELOP SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, DESIGN, PROTOTYPE, AND TEST CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, AND SUPPORT SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION. DEVELOP DASHBOARD WIREFRAMES AND DESIGN REQUIREMENTS BASED ON DISCUSSION WITH AN UNDERSTANDING OF TECHNICAL AND VISUAL DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS. RESEARCH USER REPORTED ISSUES WITH SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS, IDENTIFY ROOT CAUSES AND RESOLUTIONS, IMPLEMENT FIXES, AND LIAISE BETWEEN BUSINESS FUNCTIONS, END USERS, AND TECHNICAL DELIVERY TEAMS. CREATE TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS, INCLUDING SCREEN LAYOUTS, NAVIGATION FLOWS, LOGIC DIAGRAMS, DATA MODELS, PROCESS MODELS, AND PSEUDO CODE, TO BE USED FOR APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT.

Requirements

BACHELOR'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN APPLIED COMPUTER SCIENCE, COMPUTER APPLICATIONS, (ANY) ENGINEERING OR A RELATED FIELD AND ONE (1) YEAR OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST ALSO HAVE ONE (1) YEAR OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • DEVELOPING MICROSERVICES ARCHITECTURE APPLICATIONS, WITH SPRING BOOT BASED SERVICES UTILIZING REST (REPRESENTATIONAL STATE TRANSFER) AND APACHE KAFKA ENDPOINTS;
  • DEPLOYING SERVICES TO CLOUD PLATFORM IN DOCKER CONTAINER;
  • INTEGRATING RESTFUL API (APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACE) WITH INTERNAL SECURITY MODEL, AND DEVELOPING CUSTOM INTERFACES WITHIN THE SECURITY MODEL TO ALLOW USES BY EXTERNAL SYSTEMS;
  • PROGRAMMING AND DEVELOPING WEB BASED DISTRIBUTED APPLICATIONS USING JAVA, J2EE (JAVA PLATFORM, ENTERPRISE EDITION), JSP (JAVASERVER PAGES), JAVA SERVLETS, SPRING MVC (MODEL-VIEW-CONTROLLER), JSF (JAVASERVER FACES), ANGULAR, JDBC (JAVA DATABASE CONNECTIVITY), JMS (JAVA MESSAGE SERVICE), JNDI (JAVA NAMING AND DIRECTORY INTERFACE), EJB (ENTERPRISE JAVABEANS), HIBERNATE, JAVASCRIPT, HTML (HYPERTEXT MARKUP LANGUAGE), XHTML (EXTENSIBLE HTML), DHTML (DYNAMIC HTML), AND XML;
  • DESIGNING SOFTWARE PATTERNS INCLUDING DAO (DATA ACCESS OBJECT), SINGLETON, AND FRONT CONTROLLER AND IMPLEMENTING OF MVC ARCHITECTURE USING SPRINGS;
  • UTILIZING APACHE ANT AND APACHE MAVEN SCRIPTS TO BUILD AND DEPLOY APPLICATIONS IN WEB APP SERVERS INCLUDING JBOSS (JAVABEANS OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE), IBM WEBSPHERE, APACHE TOMCAT, AND ORACLE WEBLOGIC;
  • DEVELOPING TOOLS AND WRITING TRIGGERS AND STORED PROCEDURES UTILIZING JENKINS, HUDSON, PUPPET, BAMBOO, ORACLE, INFORMIX, SQL SERVER DATABASES AND WRITING TRIGGERS TO STORED PROCEDURES; AND
  • UTILIZING VERSION CONTROLS USING MICRO FOCUS DIMENSIONS, GIT, AND APACHE SVN (SUBVERSION) AS WELL AS IMPLEMENTING USER SECURITY USING JWT (JAVASCRIPT OBJECT NOTATION (JSON) WEB TOKEN), OAUTH 2.0 (OPEN AUTHORIZATION) AND LDAP 15 (LIGHTWEIGHT DIRECTORY ACCESS PROTOCOL).
