Deloitte Consulting LLP  seeks a Solution Specialist, Customer & Marketing, Digital Customer in Mechanicsburg, PA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

DESIGNING AND IMPLEMENTING SALES AND SERVICE EXPERIENCES, CAPABILITIES, AND ARCHITECTURES REQUIRED TO BRING CUSTOMER STRATEGIES TO LIFE. PERFORMING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, AND IDENTIFYING GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES. ESTIMATING TIME AND RESOURCES NEEDED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT WORK. FUNCTIONING AS INTEGRATORS BETWEEN BUSINESS NEEDS AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, HELPING TO CREATE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS TO MEET CLIENTS BUSINESS NEEDS. DEFINING SYSTEMS STRATEGY, DEVELOPING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, PROCESSING DESIGN, PROTOTYPING, AND TESTING CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, AND SUPPORTING SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION. CREATING TEST CASES AND PERFORMING FUNCTIONAL, NON-FUNCTIONAL, SYSTEM INTEGRATION (SIT), BLACK BOX, WHITE BOX, AND END-TO-END TESTING OF SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS. CREATING PROJECT CHARTERS, SCHEDULES, AND PLANS, DEFINING PROJECT TASKS, ALLOCATING RESOURCES AND MONITORING PROJECT PROGRESS. RESEARCHING USER REPORTED ISSUES, IDENTIFYING ROOT CAUSES AND RESOLUTIONS, IMPLEMENTING FIXES, AND LIAISING BETWEEN BUSINESS FUNCTIONS, END USERS, AND TECHNICAL DELIVERY TEAMS. CREATING TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS, INCLUDING SCREEN LAYOUTS, NAVIGATION FLOWS, LOGIC DIAGRAMS, DATA MODELS, PROCESS MODELS, AND PSEUDO CODE, TO BE USED FOR APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT. WRITE FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS AND USE CASES, CREATE PROCESS FLOW DIAGRAMS AND FINALIZING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS.

Requirements 

BACHELORS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM FIELD OR A RELATED FIELD AND ONE ( 1) YEAR OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST ALSO HAVE ONE (1) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:

LEVERAGING THE AGILE AND WATERFALL METHODOLOGIES TO WORK ACROSS ALL PHASES OF THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYCLE INCLUDING DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION, FOR INFORMATICA AND JAVA APPLICATIONS FOR ENTERPRISE-LEVEL CLIENTS; ANALYZING AND DOCUMENTING CURRENT-STATE SYSTEMS, PROCESSES AND ENVIRONMENTS TO SUPPORT PROJECT DESIGN OF FUTURE-STATE/TO-BE SYSTEMS, PROCESSES AND ENVIRONMENTS UTILIZING INFORMATICA AND JAVA;  INTERFACING DIRECTLY WITH CLIENT STAKEHOLDERS TO GATHER FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, ANALYZING CLIENT REQUIREMENTS, AND TRANSLATING REQUIREMENTS INTO PROJECT DESIGNS TO DELIVER SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS THAT FULLY MEET CLIENT NEEDS UTILIZING INFORMATICA AND JAVA; USING INFORMATICA AND JAVA TO SUPPORT AND PARTICIPATE IN THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECT SOLUTIONS; COORDINATING THE PROJECT ACTIVITIES OF ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE TEAM MEMBERS TO ENSURE THE TIMELY AND QUALITY COMPLETION OF PROJECT DELIVERABLES;TRACKING AND REPORTING ON PROJECT AND MILESTONE DELIVERABLES STATUS TO ENSURE TIMELY PROJECT DELIVERY AND COMMUNICATION OF UPDATES TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS USING JIRA AND CONFLUENCE;  USING HP APPLICATION LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT (ALM), POSTMAN AND SOAPUI TO SUPPORT AND PERFORM USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING (UAT), PERFORMANCE TESTING, LOAD TESTING AND UNIT TESTING TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECT SOLUTIONS;  DESIGNING AND DELIVERING USER MANUALS AND TRAINING FOR SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION, ADOPTION AND MAINTENANCE IN CLIENT ENVIRONMENTS USING INFORMATICA AND JAVA; AND  SUPPORTING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT AND RESPONSES TO REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS (RFPS);
