Work You’ll Do

Play lead role in engagement planning, staffing, manage to operating budget on each project, and participate in proposal development efforts. Demonstrate a general knowledge of market trends and competitor activities and assist in retention of professionals. Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement. Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods, and tools to support service offerings or industry projects. Use technology based tools or methodologies to review, design, and/or implement products and services. Construct and assess high-level and detailed security programs translating business needs and regulatory requirements into cost effective and risk appropriate controls. Identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability through operational efficiency. Understand clients’ regulatory requirements and basic risk management approaches. Develop information security strategies and plans based upon regulatory requirements and generally accepted security standards. Utilize knowledge of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls, business and information technology management processes, and market trends on client engagements. Build and nurture strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent, including a 3-year foreign degree).
  • Four years of Information Technology experience utilizing cloud technologies.
  • Experience must include four years of:
    • Maintaining cloud security standards within client environments utilizing firewall management, security information and event management (SIEM), endpoint protection, vulnerability management and data protection (DLP, encryption) solutions and supporting cybersecurity, including identity and access management, security operations, threat detection and response, cloud security, vulnerability management, endpoint security, security architecture and data protection;
    • Performing cloud security assessments of cloud platforms/environments utilizing industry standard frameworks, including NIST, IRS 1075, and HIPAA;
    • Assessing the overall security risks to the client system’s cloud infrastructure utilizing standard tools and providing mitigation recommendations to reduce identified security risks;
    • Providing technical leadership to implement cloud security solutions;
    • Designing and implementing IaaS based offerings utilizing Microsoft Azure and AWS;
    • Implementing migration methodology into cloud;
    • Deploying cloud security tools, including Splunk, TenableSC, Trend Micro, and ServiceNow and services on AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms;
    • Providing service delivery deliverables for SecOps team including, shift management and on call rotation;
    • Forecasting resource demand for additional staffing and coaching and mentoring junior team members; and
    • Utilizing Microsoft Project for project planning with regard to cloud workload for cybersecurity and to implement new items and develop project plan for solution build.
