Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Manager, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

 

Work You’ll Do

MANAGING DAY-TO-DAY INTERACTIONS WITH EXECUTIVE CLIENTS AND SPONSORS. MANAGING AND DELIVERING COMPONENTS OF CLIENT ENGAGEMENTS THAT IDENTIFY, DESIGN, AND IMPLEMENT TECHNOLOGY AND CREATIVE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS FOR LARGE COMPANIES. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, MANAGING TEAMS IN THE IDENTIFICATION OF BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS, FUNCTIONAL DESIGN, PROCESS DESIGN (INCLUDING SCENARIO DESIGN, FLOW MAPPING), PROTOTYPING, TESTING, TRAINING, DEFINING SUPPORT PROCEDURES. DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING CONTACT WITH TOP DECISION MAKERS AT KEY CLIENTS. PARTICIPATING AND LEADING ASPECTS OF THE PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT PROCESS. CONTRIBUTING TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROPOSAL PRICING STRATEGIES. PERFORMING ROLE OF COUNSELOR AND COACH; ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING IN STAFF RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION ACTIVITIES. PROVIDING LEADERSHIP AND SUPPORTING FOR DELIVERY TEAMS AND STAFF IN LOCAL OFFICES. PERFORMING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, AND IDENTIFYING GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES. ESTIMATING TIME AND RESOURCES NEEDED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT WORK. FUNCTIONING AS INTEGRATORS BETWEEN BUSINESS NEEDS AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, HELPING TO CREATE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS TO MEET CLIENTS' BUSINESS NEEDS. DEFINING SYSTEMS STRATEGY, DEVELOPING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, PROCESSING DESIGN, PROTOTYPING, TESTING CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, AND SUPPORTING SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION. CREATING PROJECT CHARTERS, SCHEDULES, AND PLANS, DEFINING PROJECT TASKS, ALLOCATING RESOURCES AND MONITOR PROJECT PROGRESS. WRITING FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS AND USE CASES, CREATING PROCESS FLOW DIAGRAMS AND FINALIZING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS. PERFORMING CONCEPTUAL AND TECHNICAL DESIGNS, INCLUDING THE USE OF OBJECT-ORIENTED ANALYSIS AND DESIGN TECHNIQUES. MANAGING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CUSTOMIZED LARGE-SCALE DATA INTEGRATION (DI), DATA WAREHOUSE (DWH) AND ENTERPRISE RESOURCES PLANNING (ERP) IN BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE (BI) TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS; CREATING AND MAINTAINING FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR MULTIPLE OBJECTS FROM LEGACY SYSTEMS TO FUTURE SOLUTIONS; DEFINING AND MAINTAINING DATA ARCHITECTURE, DATA MAPPING AND CLEANSING AND TESTING STRATEGIES USING EXTRACT TRANSFORM AND LOAD (ETL) DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION; PROVIDING SUPPORT TO TESTING TEAMS FOR FUNCTIONAL TESTING IN INTEGRATION, USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING (UAT), REGRESSION, AND PERFORMANCE PHASES; DEFINING AND MAINTAINING ENVIRONMENTS, CODING STANDARDS AND DATA MOVEMENT STRATEGIES FROM SOURCE THROUGH TO TARGET AREA, INFORMATICA FOLDER STRUCTURE AND CONTENT, PROCESS FLOW, AND DATA DELIVERY METHODS TO DOWNSTREAM SYSTEMS; PERFORMING IMPLEMENTATIONS OF ETL USING TOOL INFORMATICA POWER CENTER ACROSS DATABASES ORACLE, TERADATA, STRUCTURED QUERY LANGUAGE (SQL) SERVER, UNIVERSAL DATABASE (UDB), AND DATABASE2 (DB2).

Requirements

MASTERS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN ENGINEERING (ANY), INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, MIS, CIS, OR A RELATED FIELD AND THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. IN THE ALTERNATIVE, THE EMPLOYER WILL ACCEPT A BACHELORS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) AND FIVE (5) YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE.
