Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Manager, Analytics & Cognitive, Strategy & Analytics in Lake Mary, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

MANAGE SOFTWARE ADVISORY AND IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES TO HELP COMPANIES UNLOCK THE VALUE OF TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENTS AS DISCRETE SERVICES OR COMPREHENSIVE SOLUTIONS. EVALUATE THE TECHNOLOGY NEEDS OF AN ORGANIZATION, DEVELOPSTRATEGIES TO INCREASE THE COMPANY'S PROFITABILITY, AND DESIGN AND IMPLEMENT PLANS TO COMPLY WITH LEGISLATION TO ENSURE BUSINESS GROWTH. MANAGE AND DELIVER COMPONENTS OF ENGAGEMENTS THAT IDENTIFY, DESIGN, AND IMPLEMENT CREATIVE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS FOR LARGE COMPANIES. DEFINE SYSTEMS STRATEGY, DEVELOP SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, DESIGN, PROTOTYPE, AND TEST CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, AND SUPPORT SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION. PERFORM ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND IDENTIFY GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES; PROVIDE APPLICATION ANALYSIS TO MEET SOFTWARE ARCHITECTURE AND INFRASTRUCTURE GOALS. LEAD ASPECTS OF THE PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT PROCESS AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROPOSAL PRICING STRATEGIES.

Requirements 

MASTERS DEGREE OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT IN COMPUTER APPLICATIONS, APPLIED COMPUTER SCIENCE, OR A RELATED FIELD AND THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. IN THE ALTERNATIVE, THE EMPLOYER WILL ACCEPT A BACHELORS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) AND FIVE (5) YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE. MUST ALSO HAVE THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • DESIGNING THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION DOCUMENT, BUILDING THE CODE DESIGN AND PERFORMING UNIT LEVEL TESTING FOR THE PEOPLESOFT USER INTERFACE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDING: REPORTS, INTERFACE, CONVERSIONS, ENHANCEMENTS, AND WORKFLOWS (RICEW) OBJECTS USING PEOPLESOFT APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT TOOLS APPLICATION DESIGNER, APPLICATION ENGINE, COMPONENT INTERFACES, APPROVAL WORKFLOW ENGINE, INTEGRATION BROKER, NVISION REPORTS AND BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE (BI) PUBLISHER;
  • DESIGNING AND REVIEWING THE STRATEGIC DESIGN DOCUMENTS INCLUDING DATA CONVERSION STRATEGY & CONVERSION FRAMEWORK TOOL, CURRENT STATE APPLICATION LANDSCAPE AND INTEGRATION INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN, PRELIMINARY DEVELOPMENT OBJECT INVENTORY REPORTS, CONVERSION, INTERFACE AND CUSTOMIZATION AND CURRENT STATE TECHNICAL INTEGRATION DIAGRAM & INVENTORY DESIGN;
  • DESIGNING, CONFIGURING, AND IMPLEMENTING THE ORACLE TECHNOLOGY-ENABLED BUSINESS SOLUTIONS FOR BUSINESSES USING DATA CONFIGURATOR TOOL AND CHART OF ACCOUNT MAPPING TOOL FOR TRANSFORMING THE OLD CHARTFIELDS/REPORTING ENTITIES FROM LEGACY TO NEW TARGET PEOPLESOFT SYSTEM;
  • DEFINING AND STRATEGIZING THE ORACLE ENABLED SYSTEMS INCLUDING PEOPLESOFT AND ORACLE CLOUD FINANCIAL, DEVELOPING FUNCTIONAL & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, DESIGNING AND PROTOTYPING THE PROPOSED SOLUTION, TESTING AND DEFINING THE SUPPORT PROCEDURES, IMPLEMENTING PRACTICAL BUSINESS SOLUTIONS AND PERFORMING DATA CONVERSIONS USING DATA CONVERTER TOOL AND INTEGRATIONS USING APPLICATION TOOLS COMPONENT INTERFACE AND INTEGRATION BROKER;
  • EXECUTING THE CUTOVER PLAN FOR THE FINAL GO-LIVE USING DCUT TOOL, INCLUDING COMMUNICATION WITH CLIENTS, DEVELOPERS, AND TECHNICIANS IN ASSESSING COMPUTING NEEDS AND SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS;
  • DEVELOPING AND ANALYZING TESTING ROUTINES, MANAGING QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) TO MINIMIZE RISKS, AND BUILDING STREAMLINED PROCESSES FOR VALIDATING BALANCES FLOWING IN ORACLE FINANCIAL SERVICES ANALYTICAL APPLICATIONS (OFSAA) TOOL FOR REGULATION AND RISK REPORTING;
  • DEFINING PROJECT PLANS, IDENTIFYING PERFORMANCE METRICS, AND MANAGING CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS OF PRODUCT DESIGN SESSIONS USING MICROSOFT PROJECT PLAN AND OBJECT ESTIMATOR TOOL FOR ESTIMATING THE DEVELOPMENT OBJECT HOURS, DEVELOPMENT, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, AND TRAINING OF OFFSHORE DEVELOPERS; AND
  • DEFINING THE PROJECT MIGRATION USING THE PHIRE APPLICATION FROM DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT TO SUBSEQUENT ENVIRONMENTS THROUGH TO THE PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT.
