Work you’ll do
- As a Deloitte software developer, you will rapidly build and deploy new capabilities that will be immediately used by the operational teams to make a difference in improving our nation’s security.
- This is true Agile development, where you’ll be developing new capabilities (not just maintaining or productizing other’s work), passing them directly to operational users to help execute their mission (with these users sitting in your same spaces), and truly witnessing the mission successes of your developed capabilities.

The Systems Engineering offering is comprised of experienced professionals who help guide clients through their most complex technology challenges. This can include the delivery of large scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Systems Engineering offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business, provide operational value, drive down the cost of quality, and enhance technology innovation.
Qualifications
Required:- Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science or other technical field (or 4 years of equivalent experience)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
- Some experience with Agile design and delivery
- Familiarity with Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC/SDL)
- 5+ years experience in systems engineering, software development, or related experience
- Proficient with at least two programming languages
- Ability to travel up to 25% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
- Experience working within the IC
- Full Stack Development experience
- 5+ years experience with Agile design and delivery
- 5+ years experience with Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC/SDL)
- Ability to solve complex problems, improve business operations, and manage the complexity inherent with technology change
