Work You’ll Do
Responsible for the design, analysis, development, implementation, and deployment of new data-driven web-based applications and for providing support for existing systems. Lead a team of developers to deliver end-to-end BI solutions for moderate to complex projects in a fast-paced environment. Supervise and mentor senior and staff team members. Develop and maintain software frameworks and services. Interact with business analyst/client(s) to understand business problems being addressed. Review project requirements and estimate the necessary time to completion. Carry out code reviews and unit testing of new development. Document new development, procedures or test plans as needed. Interact with other development teams in an effort to ensure a consistent, uniform approach to software development. Follow software development best practices to maximize the predictability and success of projects. Prepare technical design documents using enterprise standard documentation tools. Deploy all integration artifacts to testing and production environments. Create unit test plans and scenarios for development unit testing, document new development, procedures and test plans, and prepare architecture documents and apply Scrum business process methodology techniques. Design medium to large-scale BI applications using programming languages. Use browser client-side technologies to design responsive user interfaces.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
- Five years of experience as a Software Engineer, Manager or related occupation requiring experience designing and implementing applications and enhancements.
- Experience must include five years of:
- Assisting in the design, analysis, development, implementation, and deployment of new data driven web-based applications and providing support for existing systems;
- Performing assessments of existing information systems, identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, and estimating time and resources needed;
- Performing various phases of system development lifecycle (SDLC) implementations for custom applications, including requirements gathering, analysis, testing, implementation, and post-production support;
- Designing and developing enterprise grade applications using Microsoft products including Microsoft.net;
- Evaluating clients' technology needs, developing customized systems, drafting technical and functional design documentation using enterprise standard documentation tools, deploying all integration artifacts to a testing and production environment, and identifying and mitigating risks in process and technology for client engagements;
- Performing fit gap assessments of the user stories by mapping the business requirements to the system processes and functionality to identify gaps that need to be solved using technology solutions;
- Constructing client work plans to ensure clear communication, organization, and coordination between multiple stakeholders to achieve client goals;
- Researching and troubleshooting database issues and reported issues with software systems, identifying root causes, and implementing fixes;
- Designing end-to-end functional and technical solutions, including data conversion, system integrations, reports, and custom components based on business requirements; and
- Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for system development.

- Salary: $169,229.00 - $177,690.00/year
