A newly formed group that brings together our Digital Experience capabilities and our Advertising/Marketing teams into new kind of Creative agency. Work You’ll Do

The Associate Director of Social Operations will demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, overseeing highly collaborative, creative team of strategists, creators, and social media managers to lead organic social channel management & community growth on a key entertainment brand. The Associate Director of Social Operations should embody core project management principles and concepts and how to apply that knowledge towards the successful implementation and delivery of projects.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee team of project managers and account executives on large Social Media account.
  • Define, refine and oversee the overall delivery and resource management processes to ensure the highest quality creative work at speed.
  • Oversee teams leveraging an agile POD team of strategy, creative and social media managers ensuring successful strategic planning, creative development and execution across all projects.
  • Partner with Account lead to manage all aspects of financial management, resource management, delivery excellence and investments.
  • Develop governance model for optimal communication flow between team members, clients, vendors and management.
  • Proactively identify, track and resolve issues, risks and dependencies associated with projects; leading risk mitigation planning and communication to project sponsors/stakeholders; Escalate issues as defined in documented escalation procedures.
  • Coordinate the work of multiple project team members across multiple geographies, time zones, and departments to ensure projects remains on schedule.
  • Hold team members accountable to processes and deadlines
  • Present and Communicate to stakeholders at all levels. Effectively manage stakeholder expectations at all levels.
  • Define necessary tools to effectively manage workflow and resources.
  • Demonstrates passion for project management and continual learning while fostering a positive working environment within the PMO and project teams.
  • Design, Drive, and Participate in overall PMO operations and evolution.
  • The Ops Lead reports directly into the Group Account Director.



  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years of experience within the advertising, marketing and/or social media agency environment
  • A passion for social culture and the evolving digital/social media environment 
  • Social and digital media savvy, up to date on current digital trends and behaviors within age demographic
  • Natural curiosity to continue to learn how processes work, and how projects impact the organization, its clients, and its people to provide more value to project teams and senior stakeholders
  • Clear and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, work ethic and positive attitude
  • Highly polished, organized and process-oriented with a flawless attention to detail
  • Strong ability to multi-task with a proven ability to efficiently manage quick-turnaround projects
  • Willingness to take direction and desire to learn
  • Flexibility, circumstances can change very quickly
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Critical thinker with ability to identify potential problems and resolve them independently or know when to escalate

  • Ability to travel up to 20% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
