Work you’ll do
As a ServiceNow developer you will be:
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
- Working individually or as part of a team.
- Reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
- Resolving software problem reports.
- Utilizing software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
- Providing specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering on projects with similar software processes
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
Preferred:
- 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow development.
- Experience analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
- Experience debugging existing software and correcting defects.
- Experience coding with programming languages and databases including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, JSON or other languages used in ServiceNow.
- Experience integrating third-party software and APIs with ServiceNow using REST and SOAP.
- Experience writing or reviewing software and system documentation
- ServiceNow System Administrator certification or ServiceNow Application Developer certification.
- Knowledge of IOTM, ITSM, HRSD, CSM and/or Service Portal.
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and working in a fast-paced team environment with enforced deadlines.
