Work you’ll do
Ensure the highest quality operations support for customers and the internal organization utilizing ITIL v3/v4 methodology on multiple on premises Service-now deployments supporting ITIL-based IT Service Management methodology.
- Responsible for maintaining multiple on-prem, domain separated ServiceNow instances as well as multiple scoped application
- Deliver customer requirements for enhancements in ITSM, Asset & Discovery.
- Support & mentor junior developer in developing competence in ServiceNow development
- Translate Customer Business requirements into Jira Stories, establish draft acceptance criteria and manage the work from notification through release to production
- Maintenance of NIPR and SIPR instance of ServiceNow environments as well as Customer Instances
- Document, standardize, and streamline processes for configuring new domains (clients) within Service-now, including data gathering, tracking, scrubbing, loading, and validating.
- Set and coordinate priorities for configuration tasks required to enable Service-now, based on overall deployment targets and milestones
- Track configuration tasks for all deployments in process and report status at daily / weekly project calls, raising issues with leadership early when issues, delays, etc. may impact deployment timeline
- Analyze large datasets of client configuration information using advanced analytics and automation to quickly and efficiently identify bad / missing data, transformations required, and other potential issues
- Configure new customers and users in Service-now using best practice and proven methods endorsed by Service-now, making sure to maintain system integrity and domain security at all times
- Integrate ServiceNow with LDAP sources, where necessary. Validate connections, determine data field mapping, identify logic required for data transformation and account maintenance, implement logic, test, coordinate release, and troubleshoot where necessary
- Coordinate with site technical staff and experts to address security and integration issues, questions, and requests related to data configuration, authentication, and authorization
- Thoroughly inspect all data configured for each domain during and after implementation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness
- Build a thorough base of knowledge articles and information regarding domain configuration approach, standards, best practices, and techniques to assist additional resources brought on to assist with domain configuration
- Make recommendations for process, application, and training changes based on quality reviews, configuration experience, etc.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of professional work experience
- 5+ years of ServiceNow Administration experience
- Implementation and Integration
- Experience analyzing large data sets to validate quality
- ServiceNow CSA (Certified ServiceNow Administrator) Certification
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be open to 25% travel to client site in Radford, VA
Preferred:
- Active US Secret security clearance
- MIS degree
- ITIL v3/v4 Foundations Certification
- Experience with ServiceNow Incident, Problem, Service Catalog, CMDB, Change and Release
- Experience with ServiceNow Scoped Applications, specifically CG4 and Proven Optics
