Position Summary

The CTS Contingent Workforce Management team centralizes the management of external contractors and vendors to avoid risk, reduce spend, improve efficiency and enhance the quality of vendor relationships and their respective products and/or services. This role will support the activities associated with our CTS Talent Vendor Relationship Management Program. This program centralizes the management of external Talent vendors for the Preferred Search Firm Program, DEI Talent Acquisition vendors and Talent Technology and Tools to avoid risk, reduce spend, improve efficiency and enhance the quality of vendor relationships and their respective products and/or services. Under the direction of the Program Manager, this Sr. Specialist role will execute the day-to-day tasks associated with various Talent Vendors. He/she will serve as the point person for stakeholders, Talent and supplier inquiries, tracking and fulfilling of requests, TPRM management, reporting, and participating in the development and deployment of process efficiencies. The Sr. Specialist will also connect and develop relationships with colleagues in CoRe Procurement, OGC, Risk, Talent and Finance.

Work you’ll do

  • Independently manage incoming vendor requests and inquiries from stakeholders and external vendors. Perform tasks associated with the selection, procurement, on-boarding, maintenance and separation of contractors and vendors 
  • As an advocate to our business, work directly with CoRe Procurement Services, OGC, National Office of Independence and Risk on an as needed basis to secure third party, staff augmentation contracts and ensure all compliance activities are executed and tracked.
  • Partner with Program Managers to lead vendor strategy by collaborating with stakeholders
  • Negotiate and execute agreements for vendor/contractor services estimated to be under $100k and partner with Strategic Procurement Services to negotiate and secure agreements for services estimated to be over $100k
  • Partner with and advise stakeholders (Managers through Partners) on appropriate use of vendors
  • Ensure appropriate compliance activities are performed at all times, partnering with OGC and Risk as necessary
  • Oversee, analyze and manage vendor performance using firm standard tools
  • Partner with internal infrastructure groups (CoE’s, BA’s, CTS, Procurement, OGC, Risk and IT) to fulfill incoming requests and develop, deploy and maintain program processes and tools
  • Assist with vendor RFI/RFP activities in partnership with CoRe Procurement
  • Oversee activities of aligned India resources to support the processing of requests
  • Create and analyze reports to monitor the efficiency of the program and highlight concerns/successes
  • Prepare necessary communications to be leveraged both internally and externally
  • Participate in relationship meetings with strategic vendors and stakeholders as appropriate
  • Manage Service Level Agreements and adhere to escalation procedures as appropriate
  • Manage internal and external surveys and interpret results to understand program’s successes and areas for improvement
  • Manage the storage of program documentation (i.e. deliverables, program guidelines, SPS tracking, contracts, etc.)
  • Maintain Deloitte Net and SharePoint program site to ensure information included is accurate, timely, and necessary
  • Collaborate with India on invoice maintenance, serving as the second level review-high volume/spend
  • Monitor spend and metrics to identify opportunities for cost reduction on a continuous basis
  • Continually enhance and develop tools to be used to facilitate discussions/collaboration with vendors
  • Effectively communicate progress to Program Managers and Leader, CoEs, and BA stakeholders
  • Support Program Managers in regard to vendor relations and correspondence
  • Independently manage day to day workload, documenting productivity metrics on a period basis

  • Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources or related experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, etc.), Salesforce, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Taleo, Avature or other knowledge management sites, and other office/computer systems
  • Ability to work independently on a variety of projects in a high volume, fast paced, and sometime nebulous environment required
  • Excellent customer service, organizational and planning skills
  • Relationship management skills
  • Strong execution skills
  • Demonstrated strong communication, written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interface with a variety of levels both inside and outside of Deloitte
