Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a SENIOR SOLUTION SPECIALIST, STRATEGY & ANALYTICS, ANALYTICS & COGNITIVE In Mechanicsburg, PA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

DRIVE IMPLEMENTATIONS OF CLOUD-BASED TECHNOLOGIES, INCLUDING DATA CLEANSING AND CONVERSIONS, INTERFACE DESIGN/DEVELOPMENT, AND SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYCLE. ENABLE END-TO-END JOURNEY FROM ON-PREMISE TO CLOUD; MAY LEAD DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE FOLLOWING FOCUS AREAS: CLOUD MESSAGING, GROUND-TO-CLOUD CONNECTIVITY, CLOUD STRATEGY, OPERATING MODEL TRANSFORMATION, CLOUD DEVELOPMENT, CLOUD INTEGRATION AND APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACES (APIS), CLOUD MIGRATION, CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE AND ENGINEERING, AND CLOUD MANAGED SERVICES. LEAD VARIOUS ASPECTS OF THE FULL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYCLE (SDLC), WHICH MAY INCLUDE REQUIREMENTS GATHERING, APPLICATION CONFIGURATION DESIGN, BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYSIS, SCRIPTING, CODE DEPLOYMENTS, ENHANCEMENT VALIDATION, TRIAGE OF DEFECTS AND CHANGE REQUESTS, AND ESCALATIONS OF URGENT ISSUES. DESIGN AND DEVELOP DATA GOVERNANCE STANDARDS, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES; DESIGN DATA CONVERSION STRATEGIES AND FACILITATE DATA CONVERSION, MAPPING AND CLEANSING WORKSHOPS TO SUPPORT THE CLIENTS CONVERSION TO CLOUD. CONVERT LEGACY DATA ACCORDING TO CURRENT SYSTEMS DATA STRUCTURE USING DATA WAREHOUSE CONCEPTS; DESIGN CONVERSION STRATEGIES AND MAPPING RULES BETWEEN LEGACY DATA AND THE CURRENT SYSTEM DATABASE TO FACILITATE DATA CONVERSION. CREATE TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS, INCLUDING SCREEN LAYOUTS, NAVIGATION FLOWS, LOGIC DIAGRAMS, DATA MODELS, PROCESS MODELS, AND PSEUDO CODE, TO BE USED FOR APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT. TRACK APPLICATION DEFECTS USING DEFECT TRACKING TOOLS; COORDINATE DEFECT RESOLUTION EFFORTS, AND DOCUMENT RESOLUTION DETAILS. PERFORM ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND IDENTIFY GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES; ESTIMATE TIME AND RESOURCES NEEDED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT WORK.

Requirements

BACHELORS DEGREE OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM FIELD, OR A RELATED FIELD. TWO (2) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST HAVE TWO (2) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH:

  • ENABLING END-TO-END JOURNEY FROM ON-PREMISE TO CLOUD, INCLUDING DESIGNING AND DEVELOPING CLOUD MESSAGING, GROUND-TO-CLOUD CONNECTIVITY, CLOUD STRATEGY, OPERATING MODEL TRANSFORMATION, CLOUD DEVELOPMENT, CLOUD INTEGRATION AND APIS, CLOUD MIGRATION, CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE AND ENGINEERING AND CLOUD MANAGED SERVICES USING MICROSOFT AZURE AND AMAZON WEB SERVICE CLOUD PLATFORM;
  • DESIGNING AND DEVELOPING DATA GOVERNANCE STANDARDS, ROLES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES, DESIGNING DATA CONVERSION STRATEGIES, FACILITATING DATA CONVERSION, MAPPING, AND CLEANSING WORKSHOPS TO SUPPORT THE CLIENT CONVERSION TO CLOUD;
  • CONVERTING LEGACY DATA ACCORDING TO CURRENT SYSTEMS DATA STRUCTURE, UTILIZING DATA WAREHOUSE TOOLS, INCLUDING MICROSOFT AZURE DEVELOPER TOOLS, MICROSOFT AZURE DATABASES, DATA WAREHOUSE (DW) DESIGN, MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT, ORACLE PL/SQL, EXTRACTION TRANSFORM LOAD (ETL) USING INFORMATICA POWERCENTER;
  • CREATING TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS, INCLUDING SCREEN LAYOUTS, NAVIGATION FLOWS, LOGIC DIAGRAMS, DATA MODELS, PROCESS MODELS, AND PSEUDO CODE TO BE USED FOR APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT, UTILIZING MICROSOFT VISIO AND MICROSOFT POWERPOINT;
  • WORKING ACROSS ALL PHASES OF THE SDLC LIFECYCLE TO DESIGN, DEVELOP, TEST, AND IMPLEMENT WEB-BASED APPLICATIONS, UTILIZING DATA WAREHOUSING CONCEPTS, DATA MODELING TOOLS, DEFECT TRACKING FOR ENTERPRISE-LEVEL CLIENTS IN THE INSURANCE AND BANKING INDUSTRY;
  • UTILIZING AGILE METHODOLOGY TO SUPPORT DATABASE, USER INTERFACE AND PERFORMANCE TESTING TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECT SOLUTIONS AND TRACKING APPLICATION DEFECTS UTILIZING HPLM QC;
  • COORDINATING THE PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES OF CROSS-FUNCTIONAL ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE TEAM MEMBERS TO ENSURE EFFICIENT COMPLETION OF PROJECT TASKS; AND
  • PERFORMING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, IDENTIFY GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES, AND ESTIMATING TIME AND RESOURCES NEEDED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT WORK.
