Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Solution Specialist, Human Capital, HR Transformation in Lake Mary, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Participate in the implementation of Workday Cloud applications including technical requirements gathering, interface design, architecture, implementation, testing plan, SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and advanced reports creation. Coordinate with functional team and vendor systems to align on the design, build, and testing of Workday integrations. Lead design sessions with subject matter experts to understand business requirements for the implementation of Workday HCM. Conduct data discovery and data mapping sessions to map legacy system requirements. Segregate requirements into buckets or modules based on similarity, complexity, priority, and dependence on other specifications. Participate in end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud. Lead design and development within the following focus areas: Workday messaging, ground-to-Workday connectivity, Workday integrations and API (Application Program Interface), Workday integration migration, Workday authentication policies, and enabling SSO (Single Sign On). Develop integration strategies and migration strategies and participate in preparing Tenant Management Strategies to support project timelines. Provide cost and effort estimates for technical solutions. Manage vendor communication, SIT (Systems Integration Testing), QA (Quality Assurance) testing, creation of Transition to Production documents, Knowledge Transfer sessions and provide Hypercare support. Engage in aspects of the full SDLC, which may include requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects, change requests, and escalations of urgent issues. Create Workday Advanced Custom Reports, Prism Analytics, and BIRT (Business Intelligence Report Tool) reports using Workday Studio for data validation.

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Engineering (Any), or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Developing Workday EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), CCW, Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, Workday Cloud Connect for Third Party Payroll (PICOF (Workday Payroll Integration Common Output File) and PECI (Workday Payroll Effective Change Interface)), Workday Benefits, and third-party vendor Workday integrations;
  • Designing Workday business process flows and respective integrations with downstream systems or third-party vendors through assessment of current system and business architecture utilizing tools including Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Word;
  • Designing and developing integrations using MVEL (MVFLEX Expression Language), XTT, ETV, XML (Extensible Markup Language), XLST (eXtensible Stylesheet Language Transformations), WWS (Workday Web Services), SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), REST (Representational State Transfer), and middleware systems, and application design technologies;
  • Designing PICOF and PECI connectors utilizing Integration Designer Toolset and external third-party Payroll and Benefit Providers vendors;
  • Conducting performance testing for POC (Proof of Concept) for delivering functionality and flexibility of Core Connector Worker (CCW), Cloud Connect Benefits, Cloud Connect Payroll, and Cloud Connect Finance connectors;
  • Developing functional and technical specifications including Unit test plan documents for packaged and custom-built Workday Studio integrations based on business requirements;
  • Generating Workday EIB, Workday Document Transformation integrations, and data validation custom reports during testing phase; and
  • Gathering requirements, integration designing, deploying code, unit, SIT, and QA testing, triage defects, change requests, and escalations of urgent issues using the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process.
