Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Solution Specialist, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

TRANSFORMING HOW CLIENTS DELIVER SERVICES TO CUSTOMERS. DELIVERING LARGE, COMPLEX SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT AND TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS TO HUMAN SERVICE AGENCIES ACROSS FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. PARTNERING WITH CLIENTS TO TRANSFORM SERVICE DELIVERY TO THOSE MOST IN NEED. ASSESSING AND DIAGNOSING PROBLEMS ANALYZING THE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN KEY DRIVERS. DEVELOPING SOLUTIONS TO CLIENT PROBLEMS THROUGH APPLICATION OF PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND STANDARD METHODS AND TOOLS. VALIDATING SOLUTIONS WITH SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS. UNDERSTANDING THE KEY COMPONENTS AND TRACKING PROGRESS AGAINST WORK PLAN AND IDENTIFYING POTENTIAL ISSUES WHILE STAYING FOCUSED ON IDENTIFIED PRIORITIES. DEFINING CLEAR BUSINESS OBJECTIVES AND DESIRED OUTCOMES TO GUIDE OWN WORK AND THE WORK OF OTHERS. PERFORMING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, AND IDENTIFYING GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES. ESTIMATING TIME AND RESOURCES NEEDED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT WORK. FUNCTIONING AS INTEGRATORS BETWEEN BUSINESS NEEDS AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, HELPING TO CREATE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS TO MEET CLIENTS BUSINESS NEEDS. DEFINING SYSTEMS STRATEGY, DEVELOPING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, PROCESSING DESIGN, PROTOTYPING, AND TESTING CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, AND SUPPORTING SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION. CREATING TEST CASES AND PERFORMING FUNCTIONAL, NON-FUNCTIONAL, SYSTEM INTEGRATION, BLACK-BOX, WHITE-BOX, AND END-TO-END TESTING OF SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS. CREATING PROJECT CHARTERS, SCHEDULES, AND PLANS, DEFINING PROJECT TASKS, ALLOCATING RESOURCES AND MONITORING PROJECT PROGRESS. RESEARCHING USER REPORTED ISSUES, IDENTIFYING ROOT CAUSES AND RESOLUTIONS, IMPLEMENTING FIXES, AND LIAISING BETWEEN BUSINESS FUNCTIONS, END USERS, AND TECHNICAL DELIVERY TEAMS. CREATING TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS, INCLUDING SCREEN LAYOUTS, NAVIGATION FLOWS, LOGIC DIAGRAMS, DATA MODELS, PROCESS MODELS, AND PSEUDO CODE, TO BE USED FOR APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT. WRITING FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS AND USE CASES, CREATING PROCESS FLOW DIAGRAMS AND FINALIZING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS. PERFORMING CONCEPTUAL AND TECHNICAL DESIGNS, INCLUDING THE USE OF OBJECT-ORIENTED ANALYSIS AND DESIGN TECHNIQUES. TRACKING APPLICATION DEFECTS USING DEFECT TRACKING TOOLS, COORDINATING DEFECT RESOLUTION EFFORTS, AND DOCUMENTING RESOLUTION DETAILS. GAINING EXPOSURE TO MULTIPLE INDUSTRIES AND SERVICE LINES WITHIN THE PRACTICE WHILE DEMONSTRATING AN AWARENESS OF THE FULL BREADTH OF SERVICES OFFERED BY ENGAGEMENT FOLLOW-ON OPPORTUNITIES. UNDERSTANDING TOOLS AND METHODOLOGIES RELATED TO THE DESIGN, CONFIGURATION, BUILDING AND TESTING OF APPLICATION FUNCTIONALITY. UTILIZING J2EE STANDARDS AND WATERFALL AND AGILE METHODOLOGIES TO DEVELOP, TEST, AND MAINTAIN J2EE WEB APPLICATIONS. CREATING DYNAMIC WEB APPLICATIONS USING JAVASCRIPT, JQUERY, ANGULAR JS, HTML, CSS, JSP, CUSTOM TAGS, XML AND AJAX TECHNOLOGIES. USING STRUTS FRAMEWORK AND MVC ARCHITECTURE TO DEVELOP APPLICATION, AND BUSINESS AND DATA LOGIC COMPONENTS. DEVELOP, DEPLOY, AND MAINTAIN CODE USING MYECLIPSE, IBM RAD, WEBSPHERE APPLICATION SERVER, AND IBM TOOLS, INCLUDING CLEAR CASE AND CLEAR QUEST. LEVERAGING ORACLE SQL DEVELOPER TO CONNECT TO DATABASES AND WRITE PL/SQL QUERIES, CRUD OPERATIONS, FUNCTIONS, AND STORED PROCEDURES. UTILIZING SOAP UI TO TEST AND TROUBLESHOOT WEBSERVICES, AND DEVELOPING SIMPLE OBJECT ACCESS PROTOCOL (SOAP) BASED WEBSERVICES TO CONTACT THIRD PARTY RESOURCES

Requirements

REQUIRES A BACHELORS DEGREE OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, ENGINEERING (ANY), CIS, MIS OR A RELATED FIELD AND TWO (2) YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. CANDIDATE MUST ALSO HAVE TWO (2) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:


  •         UTILIZING J2EE STANDARDS AND WATERFALL AND AGILE METHODOLOGIES TO DEVELOP, TEST, AND MAINTAIN J2EE WEB APPLICATIONS;
  •         CREATING DYNAMIC WEB APPLICATIONS USING JAVASCRIPT, JQUERY, ANGULAR JS, HTML, CSS, JSP, CUSTOM TAGS, XML AND AJAX TECHNOLOGIES;
