Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Solution Specialist, Customer & Marketing, Human Service Transformation in Mechanicsburg, PA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

 

Work You’ll Do

TRANSFORMING HOW CLIENTS DELIVER SERVICES TO CUSTOMERS. DELIVERING LARGE, COMPLEX SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT AND TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS TO HUMAN SERVICE AGENCIES ACROSS FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. PARTNERING WITH CLIENTS TO TRANSFORM SERVICE DELIVERY TO THOSE MOST IN NEED. PARTICIPATING IN LARGE TECHNOLOGY ENGAGEMENTS PROJECTS INCLUDING IDEATION, IDENTIFICATION, PLANNING AND COST ESTIMATION THROUGH REQUIREMENTS, DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING, IMPLEMENTATION AND PRODUCTION. PERFORMING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, AND IDENTIFYING GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES. DEFINING SYSTEMS STRATEGY, DEVELOPING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, PROCESSING DESIGN, PROTOTYPING, AND TESTING CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, AND SUPPORTING SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION. CREATING TEST CASES AND PERFORMING FUNCTIONAL, NON-FUNCTIONAL, SYSTEM INTEGRATION, BLACK-BOX, WHITE-BOX, AND END-TO-END TESTING OF SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS. RESEARCHING USER REPORTED ISSUES, IDENTIFYING ROOT CAUSES AND RESOLUTIONS, IMPLEMENTING FIXES, AND LIAISING BETWEEN BUSINESS FUNCTIONS, END USERS, AND TECHNICAL DELIVERY TEAMS. CREATING TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS, INCLUDING SCREEN LAYOUTS, NAVIGATION FLOWS, LOGIC DIAGRAMS, DATA MODELS, PROCESS MODELS, AND PSEUDO CODE, TO BE USED FOR APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT. TRACKING APPLICATION DEFECTS USING DEFECT TRACKING TOOLS, COORDINATING DEFECT RESOLUTION EFFORTS, AND DOCUMENTING RESOLUTION DETAILS. WORKING ACROSS ALL PHASES OF THE AGILE AND WATERFALL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE AS A QUALITY ASSURANCE AND TESTING LEAD FOR THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF WEB-BASED AND CLOUD-BASED APPLICATIONS SOLUTIONS FOR ENTERPRISE-LEVEL CLIENTS. INTERFACING DIRECTLY WITH CLIENT STAKEHOLDERS TO GATHER FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, ANALYZING CLIENT REQUIREMENTS, AND TRANSLATING REQUIREMENTS INTO PROJECT TEST DESIGNS (INCLUDING TEST SCENARIOS, TEST CASESAND TEST SCRIPTS) TO DELIVER SOLUTIONS THAT FULLY MEET CLIENT NEEDS USING TEAM FOUNDATION SERVER (TFS) AND HP  ALM. USING TEAM FOUNDATION SERVER (TFS), CA AGILE CENTRAL, HP ALM AND RATIONAL QUALITY MANAGER (RQM) TO SUPPORT, PERFORM AND OVERSEE SYSTEM INTEGRATION TESTING, USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING AND REGRESSION TESTING TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECT SOLUTIONS. TRACKING AND REPORTING TESTING ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING TESTING RESULTS, TEST CASE COVERAGE, AND DEFECT MANAGEMENT UTILIZING JIRA, TEAM FOUNDATION SERVER (TFS) AND HP ALM. PERFORMING AND OVERSEEING DATABASE TESTING BY WRITING DATABASE QUERIES TO VALIDATE DATA STORED IN THE DATABASES UTILIZING ORACLE SQL DEVELOPER. PREPARING SOFTWARE TEST PLANS AND STRATEGIES USING JIRA, CA AGILE CENTRAL AND TEAM FOUNDATION SERVER (TFS).

Requirements

BACHELOR'S DEGREE OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM DEGREE, OR A RELATED FIELD. TWO YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE OFFERED POSITION OR A POSITION IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST HAVE TWO YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH:

  • WORKING ACROSS ALL PHASES OF THE AGILE AND WATERFALL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE AS A QUALITY ASSURANCE AND TESTING LEAD FOR THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF WEB-BASED AND CLOUD-BASED APPLICATIONS SOLUTIONS FOR ENTERPRISE-LEVEL CLIENTS;
  • INTERFACING DIRECTLY WITH CLIENT STAKEHOLDERS TO GATHER FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, ANALYZING CLIENT REQUIREMENTS, AND TRANSLATING REQUIREMENTS INTO PROJECT TEST DESIGNS (INCLUDING TEST SCENARIOS, TEST CASES AND TEST SCRIPTS) TO DELIVER SOLUTIONS THAT FULLY MEET CLIENT NEEDS USING TEAM FOUNDATION SERVER (TFS) AND HP ALM;
