Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a SENIOR SOLUTION SPECIALIST, CUSTOMER & MARKETING, DIGITAL CUSTOMER in Lake Mary, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

DESIGNING AND IMPLEMENTING SALES AND SERVICE EXPERIENCES, CAPABILITIES, AND ARCHITECTURES REQUIRED TO BRING CUSTOMER STRATEGIES TO LIFE. WORKING ON TECHNOLOGY ENGAGEMENTS AND PARTICIPATING IN PROJECTS INCLUDING IDEATION, IDENTIFICATION, PLANNING AND COST ESTIMATION THROUGH REQUIREMENTS, DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING, IMPLEMENTATION AND PRODUCTION. PERFORMING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND IDENTIFYING GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES. TRANSLATING BUSINESS NEEDS INTO ASSOCIATED TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS. DEFINING SYSTEMS STRATEGY, DEVELOPING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, PROCESSING DESIGN, PROTOTYPING, AND TESTING CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, AND SUPPORTING SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION. CREATING TEST CASES AND PERFORMING FUNCTIONAL, NON-FUNCTIONAL, SYSTEM INTEGRATION, BLACK-BOX, WHITE-BOX, AND END-TO-END TESTING OF SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS. CREATING PROJECT CHARTERS, SCHEDULES, AND PLANS, DEFINING PROJECT TASKS, ALLOCATING RESOURCES AND MONITORING PROJECT PROGRESS. RESEARCHING USER REPORTED ISSUES, IDENTIFYING ROOT CAUSES AND RESOLUTIONS, IMPLEMENTING FIXES, AND LIAISING BETWEEN BUSINESS FUNCTIONS, END USERS, AND TECHNICAL DELIVERY TEAMS. TRACKING APPLICATION DEFECTS USING DEFECT TRACKING TOOLS, COORDINATING DEFECT RESOLUTION EFFORTS, AND DOCUMENTING RESOLUTION DETAILS.

Requirements

BACHELOR'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM DEGREE OR A RELATED FIELD AND TWO (2) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST ALSO HAVE TWO (2) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN EACH OF THE FOLLOWING: REVIEWING HIGH-LEVEL DESIGN, REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATIONS, TESTING PLANS FOR VARIOUS RELEASES OF PRODUCTS AND FOR MULTIPLE CHANGE REQUESTS USING STANDARD TOOLS, INCLUDING USER STORIES, USE CASE DIAGRAMS, SEQUENCE DIAGRAMS, AND PROCESS MODELS; PERFORMING ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS (RCA) TO FIND GAP IN THE PROCESS OR PHASE, PREPARING A SET OF ACTION ITEMS BASED ON THE ANALYSIS, AND UPDATING THE PHASE PRODUCT CHECK-LIST USING FIVE WHYS METHODOLOGY; DESIGNING AND DEVELOPING VARIOUS FUNCTIONAL MODULES, IMPLEMENTING AND IMPROVING VARIOUS PROCESS WORKFLOWS, AND CUSTOMIZING PRE-EXISTING SOLUTIONS PER CLIENT REQUIREMENTS USING DEVELOPMENT TOOLS, INCLUDING ECLIPSE INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT (IDE), UNIX, HP QUALITY CENTER (QC), AND WIRESHARK; PARTICIPATING IN SYSTEM INTEGRATION TESTING (SIT) AND USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING (UAT) PHASES, INCLUDING TRIAGING, USING STANDARD TOOLS, INCLUDING HP QC FOR TRACKING; SERVING AS A TECHNICAL SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT AND WORKING WITH BUSINESS USERS AND FUNCTIONAL TEAMS TO ASSESS CLIENTS REQUIREMENTS AND PROVIDE GUIDANCE IN SELECTING CORRECT SOLUTION FRAMEWORK WITH RESPECT TO CURRENT AND FUTURE STRATEGIC DIRECTION; RESOLVING CRITICAL CUSTOMER ISSUES AFTER RELEASE OF PRODUCT INTO LIVE SITES AND MONITORING THE QUALITY OF THE OVERALL SYSTEM BY MENTORING PERIODICAL CODE REVIEW AND CODE CLEANUP; PROVIDING KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER DOCUMENTS AND PREPARING SYSTEM FOR PRODUCTION MIGRATION.
