Position Summary

Deloitte is hiring a Security Specialist to support the firm's clients in the Arlington, VA region.

The position will support Deloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) security program with a primary responsibility to perform personnel security processes, and physical security requirements in compliance with National Industrial Security Program, 32 Code of Federal Regulations part 117, Intelligence Community Directive, ICD 705 and supplemental regulatory requirements as needed. In addition, the role will support the lifecycle of SCIF construction, operations definition and implementation, ongoing physical Security, Access Control and Personnel Security processing.

The selected individual will be responsible for providing security support ensuring classified information is properly safeguarded and will provide on-site support for all security actions in accordance with corporate and governmental policies, regulations, and directives.

This role requires a customer-centric, proactive, positive, self-motivated and detail focused individual who enjoys working in a team-oriented support model focused on enabling our business. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills are a must.

Work You’ll Do

  • Maintain inspection of facility and assure security in depth
  • Prepare for inspections (conducts self-inspections) 
  • Review, maintain or produce accreditation artifacts and documents in context with the customer facility Accreditation Process
  • Identify deviation of ICD 705 and coordinate recommendations for corrective actions 
  • Maintain and oversee access management systems
  • Maintain classified material accountability records (inventory, receipts, transmittal, or disposition records) 
  • Ensure classified information is handled and discarded within IC and DoD policy
  • Coordinate construction needs/modifications to the facility to assure compliance with federal policies, regulations and directives
  • Oversight of accreditation and/or re-accreditation of SCIF areas
  • Maintenance of SCIF access control rosters and verification of all visitors
  • Perform facility Intrusion Detection System alarm system support and testing
  • Administer access control methods and emergency response procedures
  • Perform Personnel Security actions to include initiation, review and submission of required personnel security applications (initial and periodic reinvestigations)
  • Manage workload, and application prioritization. Conduct ongoing follow-up/communication with engagement teams and government points of contact (POC)
  • Assist with other GPS Security projects, missions, and actions, as required supporting the application of the Deloitte Security program
  • Provide and/or coordinates the initial program indoctrination security briefing and refreshers 
  • Conducts formal security education and training materials/events and briefings
  • Other projects and efforts as directed or required to support the overall Security Program

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active TS with SCI Eligibility
  • Minimum of 4 years of Federal security experience in Personnel/Physical security
  • Up to 10% travel required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
