Work you’ll do :

Ambassadors provide an array of hospitality-related service to our internal professionals at all levels. While maintaining an understanding of Deloitte's business, you will optimize and customize the support you provide by partnering with your team to oversee workflow coordination, facilitate the on-site meetings/events and catering process from beginning to end and generally support the daily work environment by working to creating a more welcoming and effective workplace. Ambassadors bring their various hospitality experience to facilitate all service of those entering Deloitte office space, so it’s important that you have strong skills in communication, critical thinking, time management and teaming with others. 

As an Ambassador at Deloitte, your responsibilities will include:
  • Serving as primary customer support, assisting or facilitating requests which may include: workspace/meeting space reservations, meeting troubleshooting/prep questions, facility/housekeeping issues, administrative services (e.g. printing, work processing) and other office services/daily in-office support needs
  • Supporting day-of execution for meetings and events including coordination with team/vendors, last minute logistical needs, ensuring effective set-up/execution of event and providing course correcting instructions/directions, when needed
  • Managing and controlling the team mailbox/hotline/walk-up - Assessing requests, providing triage, securing all necessary details, negotiating deadlines, and partnering with team members and vendors throughout the life-cycle of the request to ensure its successful execution
  • Placing catering orders for requested meetings and events and managing the One Team calendar to keep the team updated on vendor arrival times/meeting request times to ensure a seamless experience; working directly with vendors to ensure confirmations/receipts are received for all orders. 
  • Allocating incurred catering expenses by keeping a detailed log of meeting information and vendor receipts. 
  • Adding value through skills such as critical thinking and anticipating needs with purpose to enhance the overall customer experience
  • Ensuring an excellent working knowledge of service offerings, office space, key office daily meetings and events, leadership and key groups, local amenities, and building and Deloitte protocols and procedures
  • Managing and fostering relationships with customers, team, vendors and other key stakeholders through effective communications, collaboration, and engagement with purpose to deliver a “best in class” experience
  • Maximizing work and meeting space utilization by supporting the reservation and meeting space management process working with customers and the team to effectively use office space, including addressing space conflicts and negotiating space needs
  • Provide back-up support and other duties as needed
The team :

At Deloitte, the internal operations team provides a full-range of hospitality and business services. We help our Deloitte professionals with daily office support needs, meeting and event planning and execution, and an array of other services related to office operations and facility management. Our team members work collaboratively and apply their specialized knowledge and skills to think proactively to provide a holistic customer-centric “experience” for our Deloitte professionals, clients, and guests.


  • Minimum of 3 years of related office support experience in a corporate service-oriented environment
  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills
  • Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
  • Effective problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to be cross-trained in other office support service areas for back-up support and assume additional responsibilities/projects when necessary and as appropriate
  • Ability to work occasional overtime
  • Confident, professional presence, and positive demeanor
  • Associate/bachelor’s degree
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Hospitality/corporate background with focus on project coordination
