Deloitte Consulting LLP  seeks a Senior Manager, Strategy & Analytics, Strategy in New York, NY and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

 

Work You’ll Do 

DELIVER IT STRATEGIES DRIVEN BOTH FROM A TOP DOWN ANALYSIS STARTING WITH AN ARTICULATED BUSINESS STRATEGY AND A BOTTOM UP TECHNOLOGY CAPABILITY ANALYSIS. PERFORM TECHNOLOGY ASSESSMENTS AND DEVELOP STRATEGIC RECOMMENDATIONS. PERFORM FULL LIFE CYCLE IMPLEMENTATIONS. DEVELOP DETAILED WORK PLANS, SCHEDULES, PROJECT ESTIMATES, RESOURCE PLANS, AND STATUS REPORTS. TAKE PROJECTS FROM ORIGINAL CONCEPT THROUGH FINAL IMPLEMENTATION. CONDUCT PROJECT MEETINGS AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROJECT TRACKING AND ANALYSIS. CONTRIBUTE TO THE FIRM'S GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT. ORGANIZE DAY-TO-DAY INTERACTIONS WITH EXECUTIVE CLIENTS AND SPONSORS. COORDINATE WITH TEAM RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL ASPECTS OF THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ASSIGNED PROJECTS AND PROVIDE A SINGLE POINT OF CONTACT FOR THOSE PROJECTS. ENSURE ADHERENCE TO QUALITY STANDARDS AND REVIEW PROJECT DELIVERABLES. CREATE POLICIES, PROCESSES, AND STANDARDS TO DEVELOP GOVERNANCE FRAMEWORKS AND STRATEGIC SECURITY SOLUTIONS FOR CLIENTS. INTEGRATE BUSINESS OPERATIONS AND TECHNOLOGY ENVIRONMENTS THROUGH IDENTIFYING PROCESS AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPROVEMENTS. PROVIDE TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP AND CONSULTING ACROSS THE ORGANIZATION FROM THE STRATEGIC DECISION MAKING DOWN TO THE PROJECT PLANNING LEVELS. USE SDLC METHODOLOGIES TO IDENTIFY PROCESS GAPS AND REMEDIATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR DELIVERING NEW CAPABILITIES AND ENHANCEMENTS. IDENTIFY KEY SECURITY CONTROLS SUCH AS FIREWALL, NETWORK SECURITY, SERVER SECURITY, ENDPOINT SECURITY, DATA LOSS PREVENTION, INTRUSION DETECTION/PREVENTION, MESSAGING SECURITY TOOLS, MESSAGING AND METRICS FOR THE IT ENVIRONMENT ALONG WITH DEFINING THE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (RACI) WITHIN THE GOVERNANCE PROGRAM.

Requirements 

REQUIRES A MASTER'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM DEGREE, OR A RELATED FIELD AND FOUR (4) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. IN THE ALTERNATIVE, THE EMPLOYER WILL ACCEPT A BACHELOR'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) AND SIX (6) YEARS OF PROGRESSIVELY RESPONSIBLE RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE. MUST ALSO HAVE FOUR (4) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:

ANALYZING CURRENT STATE IT ASSESSMENTS INCLUDING IT ARCHITECTURES, IT STRATEGIES, INTEGRATION ARCHITECTURES, APPLICATION ARCHITECTURES, DATA ARCHITECTURES AND SECURITY ARCHITECTURES TO IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES FOR COST OPTIMIZATION, APPLICATION RATIONALIZATION AND AUTOMATION OF PROCESSES TO IMPROVE OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY AND DATA MANAGEMENT USING INTERVIEWS, WORKSHOPS, DESIGN SESSIONS, POWERPOINT, MS EXCEL, FINANCIAL MODELING, CAPABILITY MATURITY MODELING, TCO ANALYSIS, BUSINESS PROCESS MODELING, ITIL, COBIT, AND TOGAF; IDENTIFYING ARCHITECTURE GAPS AND RECOMMEND IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO ALIGN THE TECHNOLOGY ENVIRONMENT TO BUSINESS OPERATIONS USING TOGAF AND ZACHMAN FRAMEWORK; EVALUATING EXISTING SOFTWARE DELIVERY APPROACHES INCLUDING AGILE AND WATERFALL SDLC TO IDENTIFY PROCESS GAPS AND IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR STREAMLINING HOW NEW FEATURES/CAPABILITIES ARE RELEASED; DETERMINING SYSTEM CAPABILITIES, MAP BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS TO IT CAPABILITIES, AND CONVEY THE NECESSITY FOR LEGACY SYSTEMS INCLUDING MAINFRAME, POLICY ADMINISTRATION, CORE OPERATIONS SYSTEMS INTEGRATION, AND TO OPERATIONALIZE BUSINESS STRATEGIES INTO ACTIONABLE BUSINESS AND IT CAPABILITY DRIVEN ROADMAPS USING INTERVIEWS, WORKSHOPS, DESIGN SESSIONS, POWERPOINT, MS EXCEL, FINANCIAL MODELING, CAPABILITY MATURITY MODELING, AND TCO ANALYSIS; ASSESSING CLIENTS SOFTWARE TOOLS AND APPLICATION CONFIGURATION AND IDENTIFYING OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPROVEMENT USING A WORKING UNDERSTANDING OF OBJECT-ORIENTED PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES INCLUDING C#, .NET, SQL; DEVELOPING SECURITY STRATEGY AND IT GOVERNANCE FRAMEWORK FOR CLIENTS UTILIZING NIST, ISO, AND COBIT; DEVELOPING STRATEGIES FOR DATA, APPLICATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE MIGRATION, RETIREMENT AND TRANSFORMATION USING KNOWLEDGE OF DATABASE FUNCTIONS USING SQL SERVER, MYSQL, SQL SERVER INTEGRATION SERVICES, BIG DATA AND OTHER CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES INCLUDING AMAZON EC2, VMWARE, AZURE, CITRIX, HADOOP, MONGODB, AND APACHE SPARK; DESIGNING AND IMPLEMENTING SHORT AND LONG-TERM ROADMAPS, COST MODELS AND BUSINESS CASES FOR IT/BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION, APPLICATION RATIONALIZATION, AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS USING INTERVIEWS, WORKSHOPS, DESIGN SESSIONS, POWERPOINT, MS EXCEL, FINANCIAL MODELING, CAPABILITY MATURITY MODELING, AND TCO ANALYSIS; DEVELOPING TECHNICAL RESPONSE TO NEW WORK THROUGH CLIENT-ISSUED REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFPS), DEVELOPING FORMAL PROPOSALS COMPRISING OF DELIVERY APPROACH, TIMELINE, TEAM STRUCTURES, PRICING ESTIMATES, RISKS AND ASSUMPTIONS, AND ASSOCIATED DELIVERABLES, AND CONDUCTING NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE CLIENTS TO WIN NEW WORK IN THE MARKETPLACE AND GROW THE BUSINESS; OVERSEEING THE PLANNING OF ENGAGEMENT SCOPES, PROJECT BUDGETS, STAFFING, AND MANAGING PROJECT ECONOMICS TO ENSURE MAXIMUM PROJECT PROFITABILITY;
