Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Manager, Strategy & Analytics, Strategy in New York, NY and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

 

Work You’ll Do 

Lead information technology projects including the creation of innovative and transformative technology solutions for clients that address their next generational needs; create effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives for clients within financial services industries. Lead delivery of payments content experience across the payments processing, acquiring, and gateway sectors of the industry. Lead client advisory on debit, credit, ACH, wire, check, prepaid, and emerging methods of business to business and business to consumer payments such as RTP and eWallets. Lead vendor assessment for content management of financial services companies by creating vendor selection framework, conducting demos, road-mapping, and pricing assessment. Lead teams that aim to provide organization leaders with the capabilities and tools to build flexible, innovative business models that create and capture value for the organization, supported by a strong operations foundation. Lead engagement planning and budgeting by defining deliverable structure, content and delivery while managing risks and quality of delivery. Lead and participate in proposal development and contribute to the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities. Synthesize overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, Blogs, and other forms of market eminence. Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events. Develop and execute networking strategies, sales tracking mechanisms, pitch presentations and analyze documents aimed at increasing client engagements using data visualization and project management tools.

Requirements 

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, any STEM field or a related field, and six years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation, or a Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, any STEM field or a related field, and four years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. The employer will accept three years of university study (or foreign equivalent) and six years of progressively responsible experience as noted above. Must have four years of experience with:

  • Leading projects including the creation of innovative and transformative solutions for clients within the financial services industries that address their next generational needs; creating effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives, utilizing Strategy / Choice Cascade, Profitability and Cost-to-Serve Analysis, Operational Transformation, Ops/ Center of Excellence (COE) Design, Organizational Restructuring and Future State Design and Roadmap.
  • Leading client advisory in a consulting capacity on debit, credit, ach, wire, check, prepaid, and emerging methods of business to business and business to consumer payments such as RTP and eWallets, utilizing competitive Assessment, Customer Innovation Design & Prototyping, Marketing Strategy, Go-To-Market Strategy and Operating Model Design
  • Leading global teams that aim to provide organization leaders with the capabilities and tools to build flexible, innovative business models, utilizing Business Model Optimization, Business Model Innovation Toolkit, Growth / Investment Strategy, and Financial Modeling.
  • Leading engagement planning and budgeting by defining deliverable structure, content and delivery while managing risks and quality of delivery, utilizing Project Scoping, Issue Management, Project Financials & Budget, Resource Management, and Project Status Assessments
  • Leading and participating in proposal development and contributing to the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities;
  • Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices;
  • Transforming and visualizing data, evaluating business processes, and drawing insights from analysis through Strategic Labs and Workshops, Capability Mapping, Capability Gap Analysis, Lean Six Sigma methods, and Data Visualization Infographics for developing solutions for client challenges
  • 80% travel required.
