Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Manager, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics and Cognitive in Chicago, IL, and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do 

LEAD ADVISORY AND IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES OF LARGE-SCALE DATA ECOSYSTEMS INCLUDING DATA MANAGEMENT, GOVERNANCE AND THE INTEGRATION OF STRUCTURED AND UNSTRUCTURED DATA TO GENERATE INSIGHTS LEVERAGING ON-PREMISE, WEB, AND/OR CLOUD-BASED PLATFORMS TO HELP COMPANIES UNLOCK THE VALUE OF BIG TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENTS. LEAD TEAMS THAT PERFORM DATA MANAGEMENT, SUCH AS MASTER DATA, METADATA, DATA ARCHITECTURE, DATA GOVERNANCE, DATA QUALITY, DATA MODELING WHILE UTILIZING TECHNOLOGIES. LEAD THE FULL DATA DELIVERY LIFECYCLE FOR IMPLEMENTATIONS, INCLUDING DEFINING SYSTEMS STRATEGY, DEVELOPING SYSTEMS REQUIREMENTS, DESIGNING AND PROTOTYPING, TESTING, TRAINING, DEFINING SUPPORT PROCEDURES, AND IMPLEMENTING PRACTICAL BUSINESS SOLUTIONS UNDER MULTIPLE DEADLINES. LEAD TEAMS THAT WORK TO PROVIDE INDUSTRY INSIGHT AND ANALYTICAL SUPPORT USING DATA MINING, PATTERN MATCHING, DATA VISUALIZATION, AND PREDICTIVE MODELLING TOOLS TO PRODUCE ANALYSIS AND ALGORITHMS. DRIVE OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY BY MAINTAINING DATA ECOSYSTEMS, SOURCING ANALYTICS EXPERTISE FOR CONTINUOUS INSIGHTS AND IMPROVEMENTS. DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN CONTACT WITH TOP DECISION MAKERS; PARTICIPATE AND LEAD ASPECTS OF THE PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT PROCESS; CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROPOSAL PRICING STRATEGIES. PERFORM ROLE OF COUNSELOR AND COACH; ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN STAFF RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION ACTIVITIES; PROVIDE LEADERSHIP AND SUPPORT FOR DELIVERY TEAMS AND STAFF IN LOCAL OFFICES. IMPROVE INTERNAL PROCESSES, AND PROMOTE KNOWLEDGE SHARING IN THE TEAM, BY CONTRIBUTING TO THE COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE, BLOGS, AND OTHER FORMS OF MARKET EMINENCE. DEVELOP PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS AND METHODOLOGIES; DEVELOP "THOUGHT-WARE" AND "POINT-OF-VIEW" DOCUMENTS; PARTICIPATE IN PUBLIC SPEAKING EVENTS. DEVELOP AND EXECUTE NETWORKING STRATEGIES, SALES TRACKING MECHANISMS, PITCH PRESENTATIONS AND ANALYZE DOCUMENTS AIMED AT INCREASING CLIENT ENGAGEMENTS USING DATA VISUALIZATION AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT TOOLS.

Requirements 

MASTERS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM FIELD OR A RELATED FIELD AND THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. IN THE ALTERNATIVE, THE EMPLOYER WILL ACCEPT A BACHELORS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) AND FIVE (5) YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE. MUST ALSO HAVE THREE (3) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • LEADING ADVISORY AND IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES OF LARGE-SCALE DATA ECOSYSTEMS INCLUDING DATA MANAGEMENT, GOVERNANCE AND THE INTEGRATION OF STRUCTURED AND UNSTRUCTURED DATA UTILIZING APACHE HADOOP, APACHE SPARK, APACHE HIVE, APACHE NIFI, CONFLUENT KAFKA, MICROSOFT AZURE DATABRICKS, MICROSOFT AZURE DATA LAKE STORAGE (ADLS), AND MICROSOFT AZURE DATA FACTORY TO GENERATE INSIGHTS LEVERAGING ON-PREMISE, WEB, AND/OR CLOUD-BASED PLATFORMS TO HELP COMPANIES UNLOCK THE VALUE OF BIG TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENTS;
  • DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING CONTACT WITH TOP DECISION MAKERS, LEADING ASPECTS OF THE PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT PROCESS, AND LEADING THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROPOSAL PRICING STRATEGIES;
  • PERFORMING ROLE OF COUNSELOR AND COACH, ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING IN STAFF RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION ACTIVITIES, AND PROVIDING LEADERSHIP AND SUPPORT FOR DELIVERY TEAMS AND STAFF IN LOCAL OFFICES;
  • IMPROVING INTERNAL PROCESSES AND PROMOTING KNOWLEDGE SHARING IN THE TEAM, BY CONTRIBUTING TO THE COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE, BLOGS, AND OTHER FORMS OF MARKET EMINENCE;
  • ORGANIZING AND LEADING PURSUIT TEAMS, LEADING PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS, AND DEVELOPING PROPOSAL-PRICING STRATEGIES;
  • LEADING GLOBAL PROJECT TEAMS AND PROJECT DELIVERY;
  • TRACKING AND RESOLVING KEY ISSUES AND RISKS TO BUDGET, SCOPE AND RESOURCES, UTILIZING MICROSOFT AZURE DEVOPS AND ATLASSIAN JIRA;
  • EXECUTING CLIENT DELIVERABLES INCLUDING CUSTOMER ANALYTICS, ADVANCED METERING INFRASTRUCTURE ANALYTICS AND GRID TRANSMISSION & DISTRIBUTION ANALYTICS USE CASES PER BUSINESS SPECIFICATIONS AND AGREED TIMELINES, UTILIZING HYBRID AGILE DELIVERY METHODOLOGY (SCRUM AND KANBAN);
