Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Services, LLC seeks a Senior Manager, Innovation Product Development in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Work You’ll Do

Serve as domain expert across one or more technology domains such as artificial intelligence, block chain, the Internet of Things, advanced analytics, and augmented and virtual reality including help identify, track, engage with, and evaluate technology startups. Provide leadership on the execution of projects involving the development of new innovative products. Own the product development plan, ensure delivery to the plan and identify risks. Lead quality assurance reviews for new products. Provide leadership with status reports. Advise on new technologies, vendors and product and influence outcomes. Develop presentations and reports supporting completed analysis for delivery to senior leadership. Develop functional architecture design and contribute to product vision; contribute to user interface and user experience design in collaboration with professional experts. Build and manage relationships with external vendors to ensure project delivery and coordination of tasks. Build relationships with internal teams using skills to influence input and buy-in. Deliver brand new solutions to external clients and internal clients. Collaborate with product owners in the business and end users; collaborate to set targets for solutions in incubation stage and when fully commercialized; guide product owners to plan for graduation from the incubation portfolio (including knowledge transfer) to ensure solutions are commercialized successfully within a Deloitte business. Act as a careful steward of Deloitte’s investment capital. Take responsibility for ensuring the portfolio’s impact. Liaise with solution owners from the business to guide/set targets for the incubation stage and post-graduation. Manage and counsel junior team members and develop careers. Operate in an agile fashion (e.g., bring versatile skills, operate in short cycles, fail fast, pivot quickly as needed for incubation success).

Requirements 

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering (any), Information Technology, or related field and ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or in a Product Manager; Product Owner; Business Analyst-related occupation.

Position requires 60 months of experience in the following special skills:

  1. Experience in Product management, including defining product visions, developing, and delivering product roadmaps, writing user stories and preparing and executing automation test scripts;
  2. Analyze and evaluate vendor technologies in the field of machine learning, data wrangling and data visualizations by defining key evaluation metrics and criteria for success;
  3. Analyze the impact of evolving technology market onto business use case and propose practical implementation approaches via conducting proof of concept (POC);
  4. Lead workshops to gather requirements across diverse areas and users including design considerations, showcasing product demos, and explaining technical information in a manner which is understood by non-technical users;
  5. Supervise teams across multiple projects and establishing proper chain of command to guide the team towards success.
