Position Summary

The Global COE is one of Deloitte’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Centers of Excellence (COEs). Deloitte’s Finance organization. COEs provide thought leadership and direction to develop and promote adoption of leading practices across Deloitte’s Finance organization. The Global COE ensures that the firm is taking a consistent approach to Global Shared Service arrangements and financial planning, and reports on the overall US global commitments. The Global COE works closely with the Finance Business Partner (FBPs), US Global Shared Services Stakeholders, DTTL Finance and Global Shared Services leadership, and Firm leadership.

The work you’ll do:

  • Drive development and execution of a strategy for fostering collaboration across the FA organization as it relates to global commitments (i.e., CoRe, GFS, IT of the Future, etc.).
  • Conduct financial analytics and reporting as needed to support insights and analytics broadly around global commitments and global shared services fees
  • Monitor periodic financials for global shared services against the published annual fees
  • Manage and lead the maintenance of the Global Inventory – a comprehensive look at all US financial commitments to global
  • Manage and lead in support of recurring forecasting and planning activities (e.g. Periodic Forecasts, Annual Plan and LTP) and support each business and channel by providing and sharing best practices and guidance
  • Lead development of a consistent coordinated message regarding global engagement and commitments
  • Develop executive level presentations to communicate and achieve consensus for recommendations
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders within Finance, Enabling Area leadership, USGO, Global Shared Services, and DTTL
  • Facilitate cross-functional relationships between US stakeholders and global shared services leadership
  • This role will have significant exposure to senior Firm leadership across Enabling Areas and Businesses and will be responsible for helping Deloitte achieve its strategic priorities

The team

The Global COE monitors total global commitments and supports a consistent approach to the US firm engagement with global shared services, with strong collaboration with Finance and Business leadership. The focus is to provide a consistent coordinated message regarding global commitments across Finance.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Business-related field
  • 7+ years relevant project management experience
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written); the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to various levels of leadership in-person and virtually
  • Ability to guide development of executive-ready presentations storyboarding and driving content tailored to the appropriate audience
  • Strong experience with SAP and/or Deloitte Finance systems
  • Have a proactive work ethic (“self-starter”) that also embraces a collaborative (“team player”) approach to project work
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, problem solving, data management and business process development
  • Proven experience in leading virtual teams
  • Ability to travel as required

Preferred:

  • Professional services experience in finance or accounting with prior involvement in investment management a plus
  • Experience with financial system implementations, integrations, and conversion strategies
